As much as I want to participate in blue Monday this watch just won't allow it. For me, this is the perfect watch. It could happily be my only watch. Don't let this Lume shot fool you. It's much better than the pic I took.

For the Comic Con meeting I have on the wrist is the Citizen Star Wars Mandalorian Eco-Drive, a Comic-Con 2023 exclusive that wears like Mandalorian armor. Rugged stainless, collectible, and full of story. Fragrance pairing is Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif. I went with four sprays: one back of neck, one chest, one each forearm. The opening skips the sharp citrus punch of the original EDT, moving instead into incense and amber. At the heart is labdanum, resinous, balsamic, almost floral, which threads through the mid and stays into the base. Later, sandalwood and musk wrap it into a creamy, elegant dry-down. What grabs me most is the deep complexity. It is layered, richer, and more nuanced than the original Bleu EDT. But this is still my first wear, so I am not sure yet if it will take the crown. My Prada Luna Rossa Ocean Le Parfum has also been impressing me enough lately that it is giving L’Exclusif real competition for the top spot. Projection softens after a few hours, so next time I will likely double the sprays to stretch that richness further. Together, it is quiet strength: limited edition armor on the wrist and a fragrance layered with depth.

I started to get back into watches recntly and I distinctly remember that when I wore a watch with a metal band it used to hurt so much, then I switch the band to a non metal one. Is there a way to mitigate that pain?
