Im designing a right angle drill for my industrial design class check it out

I've been out of it for a bit and I'm way behind on all the new tutorials and courses, but I thought I'd just dive in again after some months and see if I retained anything. Most of it stuck, but I'm having issues capping the end of this oddly shaped part. I can't remember if it was a sweep, a loft, or a patch, but none of them seem to give me the result I'm after although patch does patch the hole it's just very ugly.

Im trying to patch this hole but its having some weird issues in shading. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated.😭👏

I'm probably just way overthinking it, but what is the best process for trying to achieve the bi-directional oval concave face?
