@Dr. Jason Cole Thank you. I just back from a motorcycle club meeting. I went dressed as this with the Shirt. I feel great but I am very conscious of myself. Especially when I see questions mark on faces and stares. But all good. Love it. True transformation is more than just clothing, it also involves my character and behaviour. Which is ok. I am respected in my community. I got to work on the way I speak and how I present myself. I trying to improve my Vocabulary

@Eric Shangle Thank you. Not mine though. I got a BMW RT. Before that the BMW RS. Had other bikes as well. I love BMW. The GS1209 is very popular. Why did you give it up?

@Eric Shangle Very sad. I lost a lot of friends as well. My close friend was flat line for 33 minutes, long time in hospital, Thank God he survived. He just bought another bike. January this year 16 bikers died. I did not know them all. My whole life is wrapped up in motorcycles. I am in a bikers church, I belong to a club, and all my friends are bikers. No out for me. I respect what you say. It is best.
My Battle with Mental Illness
Weathering a storm is one hell of a feat whether it be a storm of thunder and lightning, water and wind or sand and dust. However there's one storm that every person faces at some point in their lives, and unlike the storms of nature, this storm is invisible to the naked eye that leaves nothing, but destruction in its wake some of it invisible and some of it visible. It's cruelty is unprecedented and its power unnerving, the storm I speak of is the mental storm that runs rampant within our fragile minds, flooding it with depression, loathing, anxiety, stress and guilt. Today marks the 5th year of my war against my mental illness, it's been an interesting year of ups and downs, but no storm lasts forever, and I'm confident that with continued perseverance and tenacity, it'll finally come to an end bringing serenity to my wartorn mind. Thank you to everyone in this group for your support and continued support through these last two years. Your support and comradery are what motivate me to find my footing, carry on my mission to weather the storm and find the serenity that has eluded my mind for 1,826 days. Banjo

Thank you for sharing. It is our war. But we do not war alone. The battle can be very real. And overwhelming, that I can't even function. At times I thought to myself that this is good day to die. And reach a point many times of surrendering to the darkness. Just for relief. But one of my biker brothers will call me just in time. It is easy for someone to voice their opinion. They are not in your shoes. But someone who you know that loves you and is there for you without any wise crack. Stands with you without any judgement. That is true family, a true brother. He is one that can be lean on when the storm rages, and he does not even need to say a word. Thankfully I got a few of those type of men. A motorcycle club brothers, my wife and God is what holds me when I feel like I am drowning. There are good days and then there are bad days. My war is caused by trauma and chemical. It is not always spiritual. But The Joy of the Lord is my strength. When I am weak He is strong.

Awesome. Our bodies were meant to be challenged. So it will adapt. Great to see that you are committed. What is your goal?

@J Kennedy Years ago, I was very skinny. Growing up was bullied a lot. But we were extremely poor. Food was not always available. I had my first friend at the age of 17. Very violent and abusive past by the hands of my dad. Years later I got married but still struggled with who I was. So I started gym and abusing steroids. I put on a lot of size. Change who I was for the worse. All of a sudden I had a lot of friends and attention from women. I told my wife of twenty years at the time I want a divorce. I liked my new life. I stopped going to church as well. I became a monster. Thank God I did not get divorce and I was shaken up, and stopped my path of destruction. Now married for 35 yrs. I am saying all this to appreciate what you have said, "you like who you are on the inside". That is awesome. It is a good foundation to work from. You are secure in who you are inside. I am sure you will reach your goals. Because you are doing it for the right reasons. All the best to you
