My daughter’s been sick all day. I went to work and carried that quiet guilt with me the whole time. Back home, nursing her. Water. Love. Food. Repeat. She’s sleeping now. As an empath, I can feel how low her energy is and it’s made me pause and notice my own. Real talk: I’ve been struggling more than I realized with the job change that happened December31st… my energy feels scattered, like it’s been leaking in too many directions at once. Here’s a short poem that came through: “My mind is loud with messages bellowing down the canyon everyone is listening, but nothing is changing My body is calling in another direction the North Star is sending me messages but am I listening? I was inspired by @Paulo Alexandre starry night, I remembered a time when I used to recreate historical art and make it my own, changing the medium, matching my mood, with colours, additions and words. Anyone else tried this? 1. Pick a infamous piece of art 2. Recreate it in your own style 3. Reflect on the experience This was one of the ways I learned what styles I like (like bold-blocky vs, blended or abstract/experimental vs traditional methods) What style do you want to play with? *I'm going to put a full prompt inside the classroom :)
