🌴✨ A Little Community Update (and an Invitation)
Starting this weekend, I’ll be in Costa Rica until around March 5/6th. I’m heading there to celebrate my 40th birthday 🎂 with my family…and truthfully.... to disconnect. Like… really disconnect. So I can be fully present, ground into a new season, and take some time to self-reflect and reset my energy before stepping into what’s next. That said… I would love a few of you to step into a leadership role while I’m away to help keep this space alive and breathing. Nothing big or fancy. Even just: → posting a prompt you found interesting → Asking a reflective question → Sharing what you’re creating If a few of you feel the nudge to help keep the creative embers warm 🔥 while I’m gone… I would be so grateful. This community has always been about shared space, not just something I hold and this is such a beautiful chance for us to practice that together. Thank you for being here. Thank you for co-creating this space. And thank you (in advance) to anyone who feels called to keep the SPARK going while I’m away 💫

@Mark Lawrence thank you so much, I am stoked to visit the ocean and ground into some tropical heat. :) I’m sure you’ll make it there when the timing is right

Greetings Intro
Hello Everyone, It's nice to be here!! I'm so excited to see and learn with everyone. I love art and love see what others also create. I think art is so beautiful. I have loved art since I was a kid. It was my favorite subject in elementary school. I just picked it back up in December of 2021 learning new techniques and now I'm learning about neurographic art and somatic art to incorporate it into my healing modalities as a part of the psychotherapy side. Thanks for having me here! ☺️

@Melvinia Ford that’s amazing, what kind of content do you like to make on YT. Also, love the name of your channel!! oh as for a website, seems as most people are moving away from it these days. Thanks for your handles :) I will check them out.

@Melvinia Ford I love that simple process I find there are so many video I have made where I can gauge if it is aligned, how my capacity was that day. Most of all if I enjoyed it or not. 😂 I am packing today! And soon I’ll be at the airport :)
What is good enough?
I had a phone call from my watercolour facilitator, He had a family emergency and I stepped in I didn’t have a plan, It was nerve wracking cause they were expecting An intro to watercolours course, So I just “winged it” I tossed all my old cards for inspiration And spoke about free play What a lesson to be learned, I feel as tho I could have prepared more But we had fun The sun came out Everyone made art It was good enough… Where can you give yourself little more grace?

The Art of Ordinary Moments 🎨
This video I took yesterday feels like art to me. I love the rain. I love my cats. I love my home. My boyfriend is in the other room, reading his book and listening to peaceful lo-fi music. I call this piece "perfection". ☔

@Natasha Fernandez we talked about those cats, they’re kind of expensive and I doubt our dog would make their lives very easy. So it’s a no go right now.

“I hit snooze”
Hello lovely members 💛 I woke up this morning and realized that I hadn’t officially scheduled any Sip & Spark sessions for February yet. I want to be real with you. This week has been extra full as I’ve been working (a bit too much) and preparing for upcoming events, Vulva Workshop tomorrow at 8:30-9:30am, IRL Drum circle, and a family trip to Costa Rica for my 40th. I truly value our time together and never want to show up half-present or half asleep. So today will be a mini-postpone, and I would love to make it up to you, with and intentional Sip & Spark instead ✨ Thank you for always being such a supportive and understanding community. Your presence here means so much to me. More details coming soon stay tuned and be gentle with yourselves today too. 🌿 Here’s a picture of my puppy dog eyes.

@Cathy Sue Carpenter that’s awesome you decided to jump back into it regardless! Good work. I found knitting and crocheting so difficult to get the hang of I am much better with a paint brush. But all things take practice, I have been trying to get a list going of a couple new songs to learn. The weekend festivities got the best of me

@Cathy Sue Carpenter I haven’t heard of it, I will definitely cue it up!
