@Matt Gagne thank you sir! The clusters get crazy dense and come back for months. One of my favorites in my garden. This year I'm growing the native cousin, Lantana horrida/urticoides. Give them a look, they are amazing bushes. And our bees love them!

New Plant!
My sweet husband got me this cutie today. I have zero idea how to care for Echeveria, but I shall figure it out. Such pretty colors though. Makes me think of coral reefs. I wanna be a succulent girl so bad, but I enjoy watering my plants 🥲😂 I’ve killed damn near every succulent I’ve had. I forget that succulents hold water in their little leaves. Oopsies.

Looks like a beautiful Echeveria shaviana! I started off with succulents. They are great, and the eches are a great group. So many shapes and colors. Bright, indirect light is your friend. And only water when the soil is dry, dry. And when you do water, consider bottom watering until the soil is soaked. Speaking of soil, it should drain really well. They do store water, as you pointed out, and are used to arid, rocky soils. Terracotta pots are really good too. Not the glazed ones though, they hold more moisture and contribute to root rot. In my experience, rot is the biggest killer of succulents

@Matt Gagne thank you! Yes they like the heat, but even the succulents get burned without care!
