The Beauty of Watching Your Business Grow
Hey, I'm Christian, cohort 2 alumni. I'm still newer to this myself, but I'm learning fast, and I wanted to share where I'm at in case it helps another newer seller who's in the exact spot I was in not too long ago. There's a specific kind of feeling that comes from watching a number move. Not a huge jump. Just a slow, steady climb that tells you something is actually working. Where I Started A couple months ago, I was doing about $40 a day in sales. Some days less. $40 a day doesn't sound like much because it isn't. But it was real. It was proof that somebody, somewhere, wanted what I was selling enough to pull out their card and pay for it. Then Things Started to Move A month later I was doing $150 a day. Almost 4x where I started. Not from luck, just from paying attention to what was working and doing more of it, and cutting what wasn't. And Now These days I'm doing $250 to $350 a day, and I'm closing in on $10,000 in total sales. Watching that number get closer honestly stops me for a second every time I check it. Not because it's life changing money yet, it's not, but because of what it represents. It's every late night, every mistake fixed, every moment of doubt I pushed through instead of listening to. Why This Stage Matters So Much Right now I can trace almost every result back to a decision I made. That kind of clarity is rare, and I don't think you keep it once things scale up. I haven't "made it." Margins are still tight. But this is what real growth actually looks like. Slow, uneven, built one day at a time. The Part I'm Most Proud Of If you'd told me a few months ago I'd go from $40 days to nearly $10k total, I wouldn't have believed you. But that's the thing about growth, it doesn't ask you to close a huge gap all at once. It just asks you to close a small one, over and over, until you look back and realize how far you've come. If you're a newer seller reading this, in your own $40 a day stage right now (or less), wherever that shows up in your business, I hope this is proof it doesn't stay that way if you keep showing up. I'm not far ahead of you, I just kept going.
Big CanFlip Update Coming Soon
I have some very interesting updates on the way. - The ability to Track 25 Sellers, receiving an update when they add new asins.(working on it even pre-check what you're ungated in out of those asins!) - Saved Keepa Product Finder Filters, to easily load them - The ability to see if another seller has a lot of ungated products and see how many ASINs are shared with your tracked list - Upgrading the bulk checker - A quick SellerAmp Style calculator on keepa product finder, to see if somethings profitable before clicking into the amzn link - Fine Tuning the AI button to focus more on risk, it will check if theres IP risks, meltable, seasonal etc The thing is, a lot of these new features will cost tokens. These tokens are part of your keepa subscription. The base plan generates 1 token/minute and caps you at 300 tokens. Nerd speak: Refreshing a storefront costs 10 tokens. So if you track 25 sellers, and it refreshes once per day, thats 250 tokens. If you ever start missing tokens, Keepa has upgradable plans that gives you more tokens (CanFlip makes NOTHING from tokens, its just our way of communicating with keepa to fetch data) Stay tuned!

Filters
For those of you who source using seller IDs, how often do you go back and re-run your existing seller ID database? Do you have a systematic process for it? Also, what kinds of Keepa Product Finder filters do you typically rotate through when revisiting old seller IDs? I'm trying to figure out the best way to consistently uncover new opportunities from the same sellers.

My life has changed FOREVER - Cohort 2 Student
Hey everyone, my name is Christian Cabatay and I was in Anthony's Cohort 2 in this 12 week mentorship program. Heres what happened... I want to be real with y'all for a second before I get into the numbers. I started this cohort with barely any capital. Like, genuinely tight. No big bankroll, no safety net, no "I'll just buy more inventory if it doesn't work" backup plan. Just me, a small amount of money I could not afford to lose, and a decision that I was going to make it work anyway. And I did. There's a quote I live by, one that got me through every uncomfortable, unfamiliar part of this process: "It's not hard, it's just new." Every time something felt overwhelming, I reminded myself of that. It wasn't that the work was too hard for me, it was just that I hadn't done it before yet. Anthony's 12 week cohort was honestly one of the best decisions I've made. Twelve weeks sounds long when you're in week 1, but I promise you it flies by, and the craziest part is the value doesn't stop when the cohort ends. The videos he gives you aren't just "watch once and forget," they're the kind of thing you're going to be pulling up months from now when you hit a wall and need to remind yourself how to work through it. I already know I'll be rewatching these long after cohort 2 is done. And Anthony himself, the man is always there. Always responding, always willing to help you figure out what's going wrong. But here's the thing nobody tells you going in: he can only help you as much as you help yourself. He'll show you the way, but you still have to put in the work, ask the right questions, and actually apply what he teaches. This isn't a sit back and get rich program. It's a show up and get coached program. Huge difference. Now let's talk numbers, because this is the part I'm most proud of. My first ever sale landed on May 5th. From there, it's been a straight climb. May 1 to July 11th: Sales: C$5,686.58 Orders Units: 151 / 155 Refunds: 7 Ad spend: C$0.00, (every bit of this was organic)

@Levi S Thanks for asking! Right now I've got 24 ASINs live, but honestly my top sellers are more like 5, that's what I really focus on. For replenishing I started with test orders, like 5-8 units, and just watched how fast they sold to figure out reorder amounts. I also look closely at what bigger sellers are doing for guidance. Since I've got capital constraints I can't afford to just sit and wait around, so I try to move quickly once I see something's working. Actually just did a test order of 10 on one product and it sold out in 2 days, so I'm going up to 50 on the replenish for that one. It really depends product to product though, no one size fits all here.
The fear of spending money you can't afford to lose (and why the small wins matter anyway)
Hey everyone, Christian here (cohort 2 alumni). Still very new to this, and I want to talk about the part of starting FBA nobody really shows you, the mental side of it when your capital is tight. Every purchase feels heavy right now. I'll find something that looks solid and then spend way too long talking myself in and out of it. Is this actually going to sell. What if the price drops right after I buy it. What if everyone else can see something I can't. That hesitation doesn't really go away, at least not yet. What I'm learning is it's less about killing the fear and more about getting comfortable deciding without having all the answers. What's actually kept me going isn't some big number, it's the small stuff. My first sale. My first repeat SKU. The first time I actually understood why something didn't sell instead of just being confused by it. None of that's a highlight reel moment, but it's building my confidence more than any big number would right now. And the more small wins stack up, the less scary the next purchase feels. I'm not fearless, not even close, but I'm less frozen than I was a month ago. If you're new and tight on capital too, I don't think money is actually the biggest obstacle. I think it's the hesitation. Money you can grow. Trusting your own decisions takes reps. Celebrate the small stuff, it counts for more than you think. Still early in this so sharing as I go. If anyone else is stuck overthinking every purchase, let's talk about it!
