Zoning, Rezoning, and Big Fight
Good morning. We recently found out the property we purchased back in February has been rezone to "residential." Here is what's wrong with this: 1). The zoning prior to August 2025 was allowing for agriculture and schools even. Now... it does not allow for any of that. 2) . We refuse to fold for this..., therefore, we will be educating our neighbors and getting petitions signed. 3). Please see pics. We won't go down without a fight to rather get those rezoning rules removed or we get grandfathered in. We knew something was up after trying to get electricity that we are still trying to get. Florida will not give you electricity without Impact Fees, building permit, and zoning of the house you are going to build all complete. It's been a HOT HOT HOT MESS!!! Old verses new zoning.

Important Update for Previous Kajabi Students
Hey everyone, We've had several former students from the old Kajabi platform asking about access to the membership course. If you were a paid student under that system, please reach out directly to @Aniket Singh so we can assist you. As many of you know, Bret has stepped away and officially shut down Perma Resilience. I’ve since taken the initiative to keep the mission alive. That said, any guarantees or promises made by Bret are no longer valid since the company was dissolved. Still, we’re doing our best to support previous students and honor the community's original spirit. Thanks for your patience and understanding as we navigate this. —Stefano

@Aniket Singh I and my Husband, @Ryland Vassar , both had paid for the Perma Resilience course and certification back when it was High Sierra Permaculture. Would we be able to have access back please so we can refer back to the material?

@Adrian Hicks Mine too! So punny! (I love puns XD)
Hi
Hello all! I don’t have a property yet but I really want to build community around permaculture. I want to meet people in person, make friends and check out projects that are happening around me. Happy to start online. But I have no idea where to start with that. Does anyone have any ideas? I’m in Bundaberg Australia currently, but I’m thinking of heading to the Gold Coast

I'd look for any permaculture groups that are in your area. Maybe on MeetUp (if that's international?) or maybe via Facebook. Also, you could look on Permies.com and ask there.
