3 Ways to Improve Rose Series ✅
There are a lot of ways to grow your Rose Series, but here are 3 key ideas I’d start with if you want to unlock more from it: 1️⃣ Run More Than One Cut Too many teams stay stuck on fingers and struggle to build beyond it. Once your players can square the top and recognize neutral, don’t be afraid to layer in more. The more live your cuts are, the more dangerous your actions become. 2️⃣ Swing the Ball Driving isn’t always the best first option. When we swing the ball, we reverse it—forcing the defense to shift and creating new driving angles. It also opens up a pitch-back option that’s hard to guard and keeps the offense flowing. 3️⃣ Get Into It Early Don’t wait to get into Rose. If we arrive neutral, that’s the perfect time to run Early Rose. Our racker should first look to pass for a 9, then drive for a 9, and if neither is there—look across. Running it late allows the defense to load up and disrupt.
