Recording or videoing presentations
I’d like to share something in a fresh post which @Mike Greene said in a response to a post of mine yesterday, and for good reason. After I had posted that my presentation to a number of local business people had gone well yesterday morning, Mike asked if I had a videographer present. I’ll admit that I immediately thought that would have been overkill, with this being my first attempt. But... Mike went on to say "... then you can get it on YouTube as a long form, create dozens of shorts for social media - these will last for ever and can be an amazing investment when targeted… some of the best audiences will never be in the room - take it to them by capturing it." Yes! Mike, I really appreciate that, and so I raised it as an idea within that local group, only to find that I had some favourable responses from some of the members, but less enthusiastic responses from the powers-that-be who deemed it impractical on the basis of sound quality, the setting up and editing efforts required, and... well they didn’t see how it could be workable. And my thoughts? Well apart from hoping for more of a "can do" response from the organisers, I have seen early wobbly distorted footage of people like Paul Brunson, etc., which also makes for less than ideal viewing, but it's a start. And if nothing else, it gives the presenter some feedback on things like posture, speed, engagement with theĀ audience,Ā etc. So just like we hear from the best of the best out there, whether it be Alex Hormozi and his former videographer Caleb Ralston, or any of a ton of other people who are successful in business, thought leadership., etc (Mike included), we have to start somewhere and (in the words of the great and the good) be prepared to suck at it until we get better. So next time... and there will be a next time... even in the absence of a videographer, I’m going to at least take my own gear, set it up, break it down, and splice and dice what gets recorded.

I have a bbq/baby shower this afternoon "😳 Gave him a good deal (cash,of coursešŸ˜‰) and he was so happy!!!! Quickest sell out ever for my small business!!! I am now home but won't be putting my feet up as I have more to bake for my charity event on Northampton tomorrow with the freemasons!! Still in shock tbh!!! Mike Greene GPT
Hi Everyone, I would like to share a custom GPT I've created using Mike Greene's book. If you prompt it something like "I want to create a 3 year plan for my personal life" It will ask you your current state and what you want your future state to look like. I've set it so it doesn't share data back into the main chatGPT model. But as with anything, if you don't want to share anything personal /confidential then don't. You can also ask questions about content in the book, e.g. "can you give me a quick summary of the book?" or further questions like "tell me more about the Thomas International's PPA system?" You can use the 4o model for quick results and to be fair it does the job. However if you want some advanced reasoning or research choose the o3 model especially if you want to study and compare things, especially analytical information. Here's a link to the GPT: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-688d0f68fef0819186b852c8e1c52248-3-year-transition-map-mike-greene Let me know how it goes !

Hi everyone, Great to be here — I’ve just joined the group today. I’m David, owner of Pure Electrical Group Ltd, based in the South East. At the moment, I’m a one-man band handling everything from quoting to installation, but my immediate goal is to get off the tools and start building a team. I’ve run a few small businesses over the past decade — not all of them perfect, but each one taught me something valuable. I’m now focused on building something sustainable and scalable with a strong foundation from day one. Really looking forward to learning from you all and being part of the journey with the Growth Syndicate. Cheers, David
