Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Happy Thanksgiving, beautiful souls! Today, as we gather around tables filled with food and surrounded by the people we love, I want to share something close to my heart: the gift of being truly present with those we cherish. This Moment is Precious As I look around at family faces today—some a little older than last year, some we don't see nearly enough—I'm reminded of how fleeting these moments really are. The laughter echoing through the kitchen, the stories being shared for the hundredth time, even the gentle chaos of everyone talking at once—these are the moments that make up the fabric of our lives. The Art of Mindful Presence It's so easy to get caught up in the busyness of the day—checking our phones, worrying about the turkey, or mentally planning tomorrow's activities. But what if we chose to be fully here instead? What if we really listened when Uncle Joe tells that story again, or truly saw the joy in a child's eyes when they help set the table? Simple Ways to Stay Present Today - Put the Phone Away: Give your loved ones the gift of your undivided attention. The photos can wait—your presence is the most precious gift you can offer. - Listen with Your Whole Heart: When someone is speaking, really listen. Notice their expressions, their tone, the light in their eyes. These details become treasured memories. - Savor the Sensory Moments: The smell of herbs and spices, the warmth of hugs, the sound of familiar voices—let yourself fully experience these beautiful sensations. - Practice Gratitude in Real Time: Instead of just thinking about what you're grateful for, tell people. Let them know how much they mean to you while they're right there to hear it. - Embrace the Imperfections: The burnt rolls, the spilled gravy, the family dynamics—these imperfect moments are often the ones we remember most fondly years later. A Gentle Reminder ime moves faster than we realize. The people around your table today won't always be there. The traditions we take for granted may change. But right now, in this moment, you have the opportunity to be fully present with the people you love.

My kids are off on their own in different states, giving thanks with partners and friends today, so it's just hubby and me. I sent each if my girls a "thankful for you" message this morning. Today we'll take it easy, cook when we like, eat when we like, and take a long walk rain or shine.
Help me decide
So I have several ideas for courses and also have two that I am creating right now. I had some feedback from my Aligning with Autumn course which was to have the course completed before launching. I need your help in deciding which one I need to complete first.

I feel like I see a lot of herbal first aid kit and herbs in your kitchen classes. I think a beautiful one would be honoring the tea with ceremony.❤️
What's Your Forever Herb?
Happy Thursday, beautiful souls! Here's a fun question that's been on my mind: If You Could Only Use 3 Herbs Forever, What Would They Be? I know, I know—it's like asking someone to choose their favorite child! But this little thought experiment can really help us think about which herbs have made the biggest impact in our lives and which ones we truly can't live without. Let me share my three picks and why they made the cut: My #1: Chamomile This gentle flower has been my go-to for so many situations. Stressed? Chamomile tea. Can't sleep? Chamomile. Upset stomach from anxiety? You guessed it—chamomile! It's like having a wise, calming grandmother in plant form. Plus, it's safe for the whole family and works for both internal and external use. My #2: Tulsi (Holy Basil) This adaptogenic superstar helps me stay balanced no matter what life throws my way. It keeps me calm but alert, supports my stress response, and tastes amazing as a daily tea. It's like having a personal stress-management coach that never judges me for having a rough day. My #3: Calendula This sunny flower is my skin's best friend! Whether it's a cut, scrape, dry skin, or any kind of irritation, calendula-infused oil or salve comes to the rescue. It's gentle enough for babies but powerful enough to handle serious skin issues. Plus, those bright orange petals always make me smile. Now it's your turn! Think about the herbs that have truly made a difference in your life: - Which herb do you reach for most often? - What herb has surprised you with its versatility? - If you had to stock a desert island medicine cabinet, what would make the cut? Don't worry if you're new to herbs—maybe share which three you're most curious to try! And if you're an experienced herbalist, I'd love to hear your "can't live without" picks. Share your top 3 in the comments below, and tell us why they made your list. Your choices might inspire someone else to try something new! Let's see how similar (or different) our herbal must-haves are!

I took a long walk in the rain yesterday with my Sweetheart and our dog, Kiko. Despite getting drenched we all enjoyed it.
🍵 Tuesday Tea Time Trivia 🍵
Today's Featured Tea: Rooibos (ROY-boss) Hey tea lovers! 👋 Let's talk about one of my favorite caffeine-free options - rooibos! Here's something that might surprise you: this beloved "red bush tea" isn't technically tea at all, and it only grows in one place on Earth - South Africa's beautiful Cederberg Mountains. The local Khoikhoi people have been enjoying this naturally sweet, nutty brew for hundreds of years, and honestly, they were onto something amazing! What I find fascinating is that rooibos starts out green and only turns that gorgeous reddish color during fermentation. Nature is pretty incredible, right? ❓ Today's Trivia Question What makes rooibos the perfect evening tea choice? A) It's packed with more antioxidants than green tea B) It's completely caffeine-free C) It supports healthy digestion D) All of the above Drop your best guess below - I'll share the answer later today! ☕ Quick tip from me: Try adding a touch of honey or vanilla to your next cup. Rooibos has this wonderful natural sweetness that pairs beautifully with both! Happy sipping, everyone! 🌟

I'll also go with D. Love Roobios! A couple of tablespoons of finely ground Roobios filtered through a sieve to remove bigger bits is a beautiful, unexpected addition to shortbread!
