I was going to wait until we got to 100 and do a journal giveaway, but then someone said, "why not do 70 and 100". We are going to have 3 giveaways! 1. Let's try to get the Creative Cottage to 70 members! 2. Invite 3. 100 member giveaway I thought - why not give 2 journals away - and the 3rd one will be another draw for those who invite people to the cottage! Just because it's better to give than receive! I love it! These are some little creations I made to sell on Etsy and at markets a while back - i love starting something and not really knowing what it will be until about halfway through! Hi everyone, I’ve been reflecting lately on what it means to live a truly "creative" life. Sometimes we think it’s about the finished product, but lately, for me, it’s about the moments in between. (Just as well because I'm not getting a lot of 'finishing' done these days!) Watching my ducks and my goose, Baby, splash in the pond and run to meet me (even if they leave a mess behind!) is something that is filling my tank right now. I love the mornings spent in quiet reflection, even when that silence is joyfully interrupted by my grandkids. 😅 It’s reminded me that we don't need a "perfect" setup to be happy. My cottage is tiny, and I’m still waiting on a kitchen, wondering if I'll ever have one, but it’s taught me that the simple things—and the people we love—are what truly feed the soul. I’d love to know: What is one "simple thing" in your home or workspace today that is bringing you joy? 🕊️
