The reveal + full results: Claude vs ChatGPT built my website. Here's everything you told me 👀 I ran two tests on my two website versions. Thank you all so much for taking part! 🙏 THE REVEAL Version A = built with Claude Version B = built with ChatGPT TEST 1: GUESS WHO BUILT WHAT - In the poll, Version A got 7 votes and Version B got none. - In the comments, 8 of you took a guess and 5 got it right. - The wrong guesses came from things like the letter spacing or the nav layout, so the design alone didn't give it away. - Which one people preferred in the comments: A had 3 of you, B had 2. TEST 2: THE 30-SECOND CLARITY TEST Only a few of you did the full test, so please read this as an early signal, not proof. - One tester understood Version A in about 15 seconds: who I help and what I do. After 30 seconds on Version B, they still couldn't tell what the offer was. - Version B was described as looking like an internal dashboard: unclear who it's for, no clear way to contact me, and icon-only buttons with no labels. - Version B's strengths: it's simpler, easier to use, and the portfolio is right at the top, so there's less scrolling. - Version A's problems: too much scrolling, a hero section that feels cluttered, letter spacing and gaps that need work, and a heading font that feels a bit playful. The body text was called clean and easy to read. - The call to action on A is an email link. Two of you said a simple contact form or a WhatsApp link would work better. WHERE PEOPLE HESITATED OR GOT CONFUSED This came from @Usman Ali's point about tracking hesitation, and @Md Murad Hossain's idea to ask one open question: "where did you feel confused or hesitant?" Murad guessed that the hesitation would show up at the same structural point on both versions. With the answers I got, it didn't quite work that way. It looked different on each one: Version A: - Too much scrolling before getting to the point - A hero section that felt cluttered, with letter spacing and gaps that needed work
