Just received this today. The packaging is amazing, looks like a Glacier. Presentation is 10/10. The scent is very clean and fresh. The ambroxan is very obvious. Good as a summer fragrance. I highly recommend.

#sotd... Freeze by Riiffs... Let me open by saying Freeze is a monster for a fresh fragrance. One that can be worn all year round. Fresh enough to handle the high heat and strong enough to cut through the cold weather. Very strong projection and sillage. Room filling for sure. I worn this to work and was the first person in the meeting room about 5 minutes early. Sat down and was waiting for everyone to arrive. About 20 minutes later the last person finally shows up. I was sitting on the other side of the room and the first thing he says as he walks in was it smelled good in there. Of course everyone pointed to me. Now this is about an hour after spraying it on before I left my house. This opens very fresh with the spearmint and Lemon setting the stage. As the mid comes in, I got the Ginger, tea and sage mixing. Providing a nice touch to the freshness and giving it a herbal depth to it. The dry down is a smooth light woodsiness. I was very surprised by this fragrance. I went 8 hours before refreshing which is outstanding for a fresh fragrance. I give this a 9.5 out of 10. Well worth the purchase for the price point.

The final of five Mancera decants @Thomas Chavez sent over. I’ll give my list of the 5 plus the Cedrat Boise I already own. 1. Aqua Wood 2. Amberful 3. Cedrat Boise (I own a bottle) 4. Instant Crush 5. Kumkat Wood 6. Black Gold I am going to order a bottle of Aqua Wood soon. Now onto Kumkat Wood…. It has a nice grapefruit and spice open on first spray. The grapefruit mixes well with the spices and bergamot. It’s not a sweet spice more of a subtle softness which rounds out the grapefruit and takes some of the edge away. I don’t detect any floral or patchouli in the mid and can only pick up faint hints of amber. My guess would be due to the lingering grapefruit. This frag progresses rather quickly from the top to the dry down where this becomes very woody. It’s a mixture of woods so I couldn’t tell you what I’m smelling other than woodiness. Overall it’s a pleasant woody and citrus fragrance that isn’t anything ground breaking or innovative. For the right price this would be full bottle worthy. As you saw in my list above it’s ranked below some of the others.

#sotd... Bad Boy Cobalt Elixir by Carolina Herrera... This opens with a slight freshness that fades pretty quick and goes more into a sweet, slight spicy ambery fragrance. A deeper take on the original Bad Boy Cobalt with the heavier dark woody notes. Making it an excellent choice for late nights and cooler weather. Good projection in the beginning and about 7 hours of wear. I give this a solid 8.5 out of 10.

I like this fragrance. Good for daytime wear. Clean and elegant. The apple and cinnamon is just right. Not too sweet. Great for summer time. It's simple and easy to wear.
