1 year ago tomorrow
It was 1 year ago tomorrow I finally decided to stop just watching RMRS videos and see what the Skool groups were all about. I am not a big social media guy. I do not keep Facebook, instagram or others on my phone, if I go in its through the browser only as I felt that the endless scrolling wasn't for me. I do watch YouTube quite a bit and while that is technically social media that is the only one that I regularly interact with. That being said if it weren't for YouTube and my interaction with videos on mens shoes, watches and clothing I never would have found @Antonio Centeno and the RMRS channel and all of you here on this platform. I try to be a very intentional person about everything I do, and that includes being thankful! While I have always enjoyed dressing well, polishing shoes, watches, fragrance etc, I really enjoy being around a group of supportive men looking to build each other up instead of putting them down to make themselves look better! This is what attracted me to this group and I am a MUCH better man for it! I truly cherish all of my interactions with you all. This is a rare group to be sure and, I would love to list all of the men here that have helped me along the way!! Wishing you all an Outstanding Tuesday or Wednesday depending on where in the world you are!! Thanks!!

Wow, only one year! Honestly, it feels like you've been here forever. From the very beginning, watching your contributions, interactions, and growth has been truly inspiring. You consistently bring so much value to the table, along with an incredible level of passion and energy in everything you do. Your willingness to share, support others, and engage with the community never goes unnoticed. Congratulations on your first year, my friend. The impact you've made in such a short time is remarkable. 👏🎉

@Jeffrey Plotka one day I need to get over to the US and visit as many of you all as possible
Dior Sauvage Extrait
Got a sample of this from Dillards last night, only preorder available at the moment here, and gotta say, I like it. Notes are Vietnamese Oud, Patchouli, Cedarwood, Vetiver and the sample sprays, two, at the store lasted over night. I have a sampling given to me so I’ll give a better review after I wear it tomorrow, supposed to be a rainy day and a job site visit so I don’t want to misfire with it.

I hear god thing about it, still never tried it.
Sometimes you just have to make it easy for yourself!
You start off with just a scent. Then you start smelling more and more and realizing how they make you feel. How long they last. What time of year or time of day you prefer a particular scent. Or simply “What am I in the mood for today?” Next thing you know you’re talking to your significant other (Wife in my case) and you start to share the passion. You shop together you buy together and next thing you know you both have a pretty nice collection. I realized a while ago that my collection is large enough that keeping all the bottles together in a place that would make it easy to test, grab and use has gotten to the point where it can’t happen easily and if you don’t wear the scent why own it? I decided about 6 months ago to make my own decants for all my scents this way they can be in my closet so when I’m dressing in the morning I don’t have to go to the basement to “Figure out” what I’m wearing. Today I decided to reorganize them into seasons to accomplish a couple of things. 1) see what seasons are lacking in the collection 2) make things a bit more organized so I don’t have to sift through winter scents trying to find the one I wanted on a warm day. This is what I came up with today The worst thing (in my opinion) is to have scents that were bottle worthy and not at least make it easy to enjoy them even if it’s just a quick spray to remember why you fell in love with it.

A very cool setup @Jeffrey Plotka, you have to much time on your hands 😉
Which Would You Choose?
I’m taking my wife to Cancun for her birthday next month. As I’m starting to build my packing list of fragrances. I figure six days and three fragrances should cover just about every situation. Here’s my thinking; Given my wardrobe for this trip—linen shirts, quality polos, loafers, my fragrance rotation would be: - Morning/Pool: Bond No. 9 The Scent of Peace for Him - Afternoon excursions: Creed Green Irish Tweed - Dinner and cocktails: M. Micallef Royal Vintage This combination gives me three distinctly different scents that complement both my classic style and the relaxed luxury of a Cancún vacation without overlapping. Honorable Alternate: A fourth bottle as a backup would be Montblanc Explorer. It’s versatile enough to wear almost anywhere and is a great “grab-and-go” option if I don’t want to think about what to wear. Your thoughts, any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
