Money Saving Practice that Helps in a Pinch
Every time I walk into our local Walmart, I always stop to check the bakery section for discounted French bread (and maybe a two pack of donuts for half price). Then I immediately pop it in the freezer for those days when I need a quick meal and don't want to spend a fortune on takeout. I just posted a video on The Savvy Savor Youtube channel sharing 14 of the ways I use these loaves of French bread. Maybe it will spark an idea for you. If you have other ways I haven't mentioned, PLEASE share. You can check out the video here: https://youtu.be/uOm6FYzxt20

With budgets being stretched like never before, it's a good thing that homemade is fashionable. Even better is that it doesn't have to be difficult or stressful. Welcome to The Savvy Savor Collective where we can encourage each other while we prepare REAL food in our own kitchen all on a budget.

Love this . Pasta is big in our house and recently I’ve started buying a 2kg pack of beef mince and we have it different ways through the week . Mexican , chow mein , burgers and bolognaise . I have two teenage boys with hollow legs so I add veggies or salad and it fills them up and works out quite inexpensive.
