the gnarliest food poisoning (New Years reflections)
Right before Christmas… I got wrecked by food poisoning I don't know if I've ever expelled so much in my life Pretty sure I lost a few lbs & maybe an organ in the process I can tell u that because… nurses, right? Nothing’s TMI for y’all πŸ˜… The good news? I’m heading into 2026 feeling lighter hahaha anyway... I’m starting to reflect on how I actually want to walk into this next year Not just in my goals… But in my rhythm. My rituals. The way I close out this chapter and step into the next one. I’m off to Tulum on Monday to celebrate New Year’s with my wife and a rad crew of entrepreneurs. but I’m curious... do u have any end-of-year rituals? Any things u always do to land the plane and prep for the next liftoff? Would love to hear how u close out a year and start another πŸ‘‡

This last year, but especially these last few months, I’ve been focusing on strengthening & listening to my intuition to better honor what I need as opposed to what others expect of me. My husband and I have hosted a New Year’s Eve party the last few years (which we’ve always enjoyed!), but I’m really craving peace & softness going into this new year so I’m honoring that by saying no to the big party & having a quiet night at home with a smaller group! Planning on making a list of what we’ve shed this past year & what we want to call into our lives in the new year 😊

be so for real... what's your biggest fear when it comes to taking the leap into entrepreneurship?

@Micah Walker being surrounded by other nurses in the same boat & learning from their experiences definitely helps a lot. Talking about it is another huge one. Remembering "failure is feedback" and, like you said, a mistake in this new setting DOES NOT equal a mistake at the bedside!

@Micah Walker honestly, I think experiencing my first "failure" is what I need to really heal this area lol.. *rewires brain*
New to the community! :)
- πŸ„ Who are ya?! - Hi everyone! So excited to be joining this community and to surround myself with awesome, motivated, authentic nursepreneur's! My name is Shannon - I have been a nurse for just about 8 years and until April of 2025 stuck to the traditional/conventional path. When burn out started to negatively affect my personal life I said YOLO, blew everything up, quit my job, and am not about to graduate my Nurse Coaching program and get my certification! Extremely excited (and a little scared) to see where this path takes me - but I am here and open for all of it!! - πŸ› Favorite Nickelodeon show? - I'm a '95 baby here so my favs were probably The Amanda Show, Spongebob, and The Fairly OddParents! - πŸ›Ό Ur current biz challenge? - my current biz challenge is really just getting started. I'm working through a business course (TNCC) now and hoping to be certified soon with an active LLC. I need a business name that feels authentic yet straightforward and to work on my confidence around client creation and charging a fee!

Hey Y’all ❀️‍πŸ”₯
- πŸ„ My name is Hope! I’ve been a nurse for almost 8 years. I was one of those baby nurses that got her license at 22 πŸ™ƒ I still work bedside 1x/week as a wound ostomy specialist. - πŸ› SpongeBobβ€” He is so dang happy all the time and it’s contagious πŸ€— - πŸ›Ό My current business struggle is embodying trust. I logical trust all that will unfold in universal timing but struggling to have it show in my whole being. My default thinking is if I just work really effin’ hard that it will happen.

Hi Hope! I also became a nurse at 22 - 8 years feels like a lifetime now! I am also hoping to lean more into something that flows naturally as opposed to 'forcing' it through hard work and long hours, etc.
Newbeee here, helloooo :)
HELLO beautiful people πŸ’š My name is Melissa, and I spent my entire nursing career in the ICU (8YRS). I was burned out AF, hating every person who spoke to me, and being written up by every admin for advocating for all of my patients correctly, LOL. I decided to quit my bedside job, and go into education, for which I was in school forever for. I found nurse coaching and now I am super determined to chase my dreams of helping others and living the life of balance and peace, for my own mental sanity. Can't wait to connect with others here!
