Surgery is on the horizon for me next month. Not a knee replacement but repair the MCL and “rebuild” the ACL. Two weeks laid up and three months of PT. According to the doctor, it will stabilize my knee cap and fix a long term issue I’ve had plus should be good to go for the long term.

I'm watching the World Cup match featuring Mexico and South Korea, and keep finding myself cringing every time the South Korean head coach is shown. The problem (which shouldn't be a problem)? He's wearing a polo shirt with all the buttons buttoned... I don't know why, but I can't stand seeing a polo shirt with all the buttons buttoned. It's worse, to my eye, than a tailored jacket with all the buttons buttoned. I honestly have no idea why it bothers me so much, but it does. So, what say ye? What style choice - or choices - bother you that really shouldn't?

The amusing part is that I actually already owned everything that you see me wearing in this photograph. The only thing I bought specifically for the party is the walking cane. 🤓

With my friend Rosa, who with husband DJ Pablo hosts my favorite Salsa social here in Miami. Wearing a gray and white Loro Piana seersucker suit that I sourced on eBay for less than $250. It cost me another $100 to have it tailored to fit me but I’m really happy with the result. Wearing it with a Giorgio Armani linen shirt and Salvatore Ferragamo medium grey suede loafers. I’m wearing black Trafalgar silk suspenders with white pin-size polkadots under the jacket (the theme of the event was “stripes and polkadots”). The pink pocket square is from Hermès.
