Visualize This Moment
Close your eyes and picture yourself walking into a busy author conference. You can hear conversations happening around you, people laughing, books being flipped through, and excitement in the air. You see rows of tables, banners, and other authors sharing their stories. Now notice yourself standing confidently in that space. You are smiling because today is different. In your hands, you're holding your book. Not an idea. Not a future goal. A real published book with your name on it. Feel the weight of it in your hands. Look at the cover details, the colors, the title, and your name printed on it. Run your fingers across the cover and realize, 'I actually did this.' Picture someone walking toward you and saying, 'Wait... you're the author of that book? I've heard about it.' Feel that moment. Feel the pride, excitement, and gratitude. Imagine taking photos holding your book, talking with readers, signing copies, and sharing why you wrote it. Notice how confident you feel because you didn't just think about becoming an author... you became one. Stay in that moment for a few seconds and ask yourself: (WRITE YOUR ANSWERS IN THE COMMENTS!) ➡️ What does this version of me believe? ➡️ How does this version of me show up? ➡️ What actions did I take to get here?

➡️ What does this version of me believe? They can overcome anything! ➡️ How does this version of me show up? Quiet confidence ➡️ What actions did I take to get here? I was an overcomer and I persisted with weekly activities to move my author journey forward. Thanks for this! 🥰

3 Ways to Use AI to Come Up With Better Book Ideas 📚✨
Coming up with a book idea doesn't have to mean staring at a blank screen and hoping inspiration magically appears. AI can help speed up the brainstorming process and help you get more clarity before you start writing. Here are 3 ways you can use AI during your book ideation stage: 1. Brainstorm book topic ideas - Feeling stuck? Ask AI to generate ideas based on your interests, experience, skills, career, hobbies, or challenges you've overcome. Sometimes one simple idea can spark something much bigger. ➡️ Prompt example:"Give me 20 nonfiction book ideas for someone who has experience with [topic]." 2. Better understand your reader - One of the biggest mistakes people make is writing a book they want instead of writing a book their audience needs. AI can help you identify potential readers, pain points, goals, frustrations, and questions they may already have. ➡️ Prompt example:"Describe the ideal reader for a book about [topic]. What are their struggles and what solutions are they looking for?" 3. Validate and strengthen your idea - Not every idea is a book people are actively searching for. Use AI to help identify subtopics, unique angles, FAQs, or ways to make your book stand out from similar books. ➡️ Prompt example: "What are unique angles or commonly asked questions related to [topic]?" AI doesn't replace your experience or your story. It simply helps you organize ideas faster and uncover opportunities you may not have thought about. 👇 Which one would help you most right now: finding a topic, understanding your reader, or strengthening your idea?

Accountability Time
We could all use a little accountability - Including myself ❤️ Read the questions then grab the template at the bottom and make a post 🗒️ 1️⃣ What is **one specific thing** you completed on your book this week? Examples: * Finalized my book topic * Chose my main keyword + category * Wrote 1,200 words * Edited Chapter 1 * Uploaded my manuscript draft 2️⃣ What is the one thing you can commit to finishing by next week? Examples: * Write 2 chapters * Finish book outline * Draft my book description * Collect 10 competitor book screenshots 3️⃣ One blocker - What slowed you down or got in your way this week? This gives you: * Content ideas * Coaching opportunities * Workshop themes * DM conversations for higher-level support 4️⃣ Where are you at right now? 🔥 On track 🟡 Progress but slow 🔴 Stuck 🧠 Overthinking ⏸️ Life happened Drop your update below 👇 (Keep it short — progress > perfection) 1️⃣ **One thing you completed this week:** 2️⃣ **One thing you’re committing to finish next week:** 3️⃣ **Any blocker slowing you down? (optional)** 4️⃣ **Status emoji:** 🔥 🟡 🔴 🧠 ⏸️ I’ll be reviewing these to and helping to move you forward!

Ask Your Questions!
This Wednesday I will be holding my Q&A call at 7:30pm Central time for my premium/VIP members. I understand not everyone can attend in real time, but thanks to @Marcus Hansford for highlighting this issue, I am planning to do things a little differently. Please drop your questions here ahead of the call - this way I can look into them and be able to answer as many of them as possible in the 1-hour call on Wednesday and post the replay in the classroom. If you are not yet a Premium or VIP member you can ➡️ UPGRADE HERE.

I have thought of another question for your Q&A - you don’t need to answer now, I’m happy to watch the replay! What do we need to do after we launch? I wanted to wait until I’ve had my 2 x free kindle day promos, to see what the uptick is and then what…..? I guess I need to consider have I done all I can to get reviews in? Reminded x3 my early readers, friends and family. Reminded my social media, Skool communities etc. Then, Am I doing all I can to get sales in? Social media. Skool community. Free Kindle Days. Pintrest. Paid Promotions. Paid Ads. Locations for sale - is it worth listing elsewhere? (I know you have a video on that). TikTok (you answered above). Anything else I need to be considering?

Proof That Books Can Keep Paying You
I want to be transparent with you all. I’m not out here making millions from books. I’m just an average person on the internet with a full-time job, a busy schedule, and I’m also a mom to a 4-year-old on the spectrum. Life is full. ❤️ Since shifting a lot of my focus toward building this Skool community, that has been taking up most of my extra time outside of work and family. Because of that, I actually haven’t published a new book in over 6 months. But here’s what I think is pretty cool… the books I already published are still working for me. So far this year: 📚 Paperbacks + eBooks: $8,379+ 🎧 Audiobooks: ~$9,000+ 💰 Total: Over $17,000 in royalties this year That’s why I love publishing. You put in work upfront, create something that can help people, and over time those books can continue bringing in income while you focus on other areas of life. For the second half of this year, I’m planning to shift more energy back into publishing because it’s still my strongest income stream. I’m sharing this because I hope it encourages you. Even if you already have a full plate, you don’t need to wait for the “perfect” time to start. Your words, your experiences, and your knowledge can become assets that continue working for you long after you hit publish. ❤️ If you've already published, drop below: How has your experience been so far? 👇
