Frames feedback
Hi, would love to hear peoples experiences with frame orders and if you’ve had lots of good feedback? We added them when they first launched and had 6 sales the first couple of weeks, but out of those six, 4 people complained about the quality of the frames themselves. We ended up removing frames completely from the shop but would love to add them back in especially in the run up to Christmas. Were we just unlucky with a run of difficult customers? Has everyone been getting good feedback on frame orders? We rarely get complaints about the actual print quality. Thanks!
@Jay S Yep that was mine! After another 2 complaints we took them down. Just trying to figure out if it's worth putting frames back on the shop.
@Jay S 2 from the US and 2 from U.K. Only one with a foam backing was in the US. The other complaints were that they were “cheap and flimsy”
Frame Quality
Does anyone know if the frames are meant to come without a back like the attached photo? I’m travelling at the moment so can’t order any samples. 2 out of the 5 frame orders I’ve had have complained about the quality of the frame and wanted a refund. From the photos they’ve sent they don’t look the best so just wondering what other people’s experiences have been?

@Mihai Volintiriu @Nicky Pemberton We spoke to Tom, this was a PS frame, but they use a foam backing instead of a hard back for some sizes. It doesn't look great, especially for the price. He did say they'd make sure the printers use solid backing from now on.
Unhappy customer
I am at a loss as to how to handle this. I sold a large framed print. My first frame sale. The review came in as 3* and the customer's comment was ........"£159 for a cheap £10 frame and a piece of paper not as described"....... So my question is, how do you handle bad reviews? has this happened to your shop? and how did you respond to the customer?

Just had a similar message “this is very low quality, it said oak frame but it is not, it’s a very light flimsy frame and not a great quality print.” even though I say Oak Finish and not Oak Frame and the print file is high quality. Unrealistic expectation perhaps?

@Mihai Volintiriu I did and she sent an out of focus photo saying it's fuzzy, which from the original image she sent it's clearly not. The print file is fine, she just thinks the frame is cheap and flimsy and wants a refund. 🤷‍♂️
FRAMES ARE LIVE - Everything You Need to Know!
Hey guys, Happy Thursday! We are thrilled to announce that we have FINALLY launched framed prints on PrintShrimp!! Those of you that have been around for a while honestly have probably given up hope, but I promise we have been working so hard behind the scenes to get these live 😆 Frames are available in 3 finishes (Oak, Black and White). All frames arrive ready to hang. Please view the attached pdfs for images and more details. So, what do you need to do? Obviously, frames don't automatically appear for sale on your Etsy shop. Before you start panicking about how much it will be to add frames to all of your listings - don't worry! We have built a couple of tools that allow you to add frames to all of your listings (and yes you can use them for free) These will create your listings so they are set up with variation options for Print Only Black Frame Oak Frame White Frame Attached is a screenshot of what your listings will look like after adding them with the tool Head to your portal and click on the new tab 'Frame Launch' Please please please watch the YouTube videos (and pay attention lol) that go through how to add frames to your shops. It's a simple process but there are a few things you need to do to add frames, and the videos explain it all to you very clearly. The two main things you need to do are: Edit your listings to have one SKU: For us to edit your listings and add frames, we need all of your listings to have one SKU per product. We have built a tool that will identify where your listings differ and clean them up for you. You will need to do this as step 1 if your products have multiple SKUs (i.e. an SKU for each size variation) Actually edit your listings to add framed variations: This is where the magic happens. You need to do a few things such as disable global and domestic pricing, so please watch the videos that details all of this. We have our recommended pricing built into the software that will apply to all of your listings, for frames and print only. This includes some modifications to print only recommended pricing we had before (which means higher profits for you guys compared to before). I have attached a guide with the new recommended pricing below! Here you can get a snapshot of the expected profits from selling frames! This is based on UK prices and accounts for UK VAT when charged and Etsy fees.

@Steve Kayser Same issue, any listings run through the PS automation tool, can't bulk edit prices. Any listings that haven't been done are able to be edited 🤷‍♂️ Didn't seem to be an issue at first, but maybe Etsy have picked up something on the listings being edited with that tool now?
Help with updating prices
I’m trying to use Etsy’s domestic / global pricing tool to increase prices for US buyers across my listings, but I keep getting the error “Invalid edit attempted” on a large number of them when bulk editing. Would really appreciate any advice before I go through hundreds manually 😅 Followed the amazing video tutorial. But it's not working how the video is showing! Etsy support are being utterly useless.

We have the same issue, but only on listings we ran through the PS automation tool... we're still able to bulk edit pricing on other listings
