Hi guys, i'm Carmine, films and documentaries soundtrack composer . I'm seeking new directors to collaborate with. Is there any director among you? This is my last soundtrack titled "Afterlife" : This song has various moods and encloses several music genres and instrument like sitar, zither, dilruba and cello. What do you think about that? https://soundcloud.com/user-36502729/afterlife-wav Cheers!

Cello frequencies in mix
Hi guys, i'd like to ask you if there's some cellist among you. I'm learning cello, but i don't know how to adjust the various frequencies of the cello within the mix after recording (i mean high frequencies, middle frequencies and bass frequencies of the cello). Any advice? Thank you in advance!

@Mark Henson Hi Mark, thank you for the advices. We've got to try, try and try again till we obtain the sound we want. My main difficulty is the whole mix (i mean with all instruments) to sound good. I hear , for example, two or three cellos sound great apart from the mix, but a little muddy among all the rest. Your link's been so useful!

@Alex Pfeffer yes Alex, i see, in fact i'm doing several experiments in my room and i found the best mic position is to place it parallel to the cello neck, obliquely. At least in my case. After this i added some "bass traps" glued on the wall. But i must improve my tecnique: i'm a completely cello beginner!

Carmine Pisano is a Soundtrack composer. What makes his songs veryspecial is the use of classical orchestration combined with sitar, guitar, zither
