Hi Everyone. I’ve been running a maintenance software for a customer for a few years now, and it currently has a large history of equipment and maintenance records. Recently, the customer approached me with a request for an AI solution that could generate predictive maintenance suggestions and also manage technicians’ schedules, including accommodating last-minute requests within the existing agenda. My first thought was that this might not necessarily require AI—do you agree? I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether AI is the best approach for this, or if there are simpler solutions that could work.

Hi everyone. Following Dave Ebbelaar post on building effective AI agents and in my struggle to find uses for AI in the ERP world, I was trying to test an example I saw in a Youtube video in which we would ask questions "about a database data". I makes use of langchain and sqlalchemy. Although it's a simple and small function I came across lots of unresolved references that reminded me of "dll hell". I had to install langchain-community; langchain-core and langchain-experimental (this name scared me a bit). The I did some googling and lost the count of posts saying langchain is not good for production cause it's slow and buggy. Hello everyone, I want to share with you my feeling of disappointment, in the hope that you will make me see that I am wrong (I must be wrong). I am currently finishing section 03 - LLM Applications and I am starting to get the feeling that this technology is only useful for creating Chat Bots, all the examples I find online are about Chat Bots. I had previously mentioned the case of logistics and the optimization of warehouses or picking routes but I now realize that this may imply providing a very high volume of data that makes it unfeasible. Or is this a bad example? I apologize for the long post.
