Fix Your Diet, Fix Your Mental Health π
(Donβt want to read? Scroll to the bottom to watch my video on this) Sometimes I cheat on my diet. I eat βnormal peopleβ food like seed oils, processed junk, weird ingredients like glucose syrup, and so on. And every single time, I feel like π©. My normal diet is a 16 ingredient elimination diet Iβve tested over time. No sugar apart from raw honey and half a banana. Mostly meat and eggs. One meal a day. The difference is massive. When I go off it and eat things like croissants or store bought bread, my mind instantly changes Negative thoughts come in, doubts, acne, brain fog, all of it. Itβs not placebo. Your gut literally makes most of your dopamine and serotonin, so when you mess with your gut, you mess with your mind. And if youβre an entrepreneur, hereβs the scary part: When my diet slips, my focus collapses. I canβt get in the zone. I start overthinking: βWill this ever work?β βWhat if people laugh at my content?β Your diet doesnβt just affect your mental health. It affects your business too. Action Steps 1. Try an Elimination Diet Itβs hard, but itβs one of the best things youβll ever do. Imagine knowing exactly how every ingredient affects your energy, focus, mood, and skin for life. Hereβs how: - Pick one ingredient, like beef or eggs. Eat only that and water for a week. - After a week, add one ingredient, like butter. - Notice how you feel. If butter gives you brain fog or spots, cut it. Try ghee instead and compare. - Once youβve built your baseline (the combo that gives you zero bad symptoms), you donβt have to add new ingredients every week. You can add multiple things, then compare how you feel to your baseline. If something throws you off, remove it and test again. 2. The Adherence Rule Be self aware. If you choose to go off your diet, just accept the consequences. Maybe a bit of brain fog, acne, or low mood. Thatβs fine. Life is to be enjoyed. I donβt want to follow a strict 16 ingredient plan forever either.
