5 lessons I learnt from my former client Zack- wheelchair user, strong af, funny ass guy. 1. Magic happens when you believe in yourself 2. Banter makes multiple sessions a week with a coach an enjoyable experience 3. The impact of exercise goes far beyond just physical change, the ability to complete everyday tasks improved for Zack. Even down to pooring a kettle. it really does make a difference 4. Anyone can be capable of anything when the right program and effort are in place. Zack can sled crawl hundreds of kilos. It’s actually insane. 5. My time working with him kept me going. It’d be his payment id wait for coming into my bank so I can afford my rent. He’s the client that signed on when I wanted to quit personal training. He’s the client that kept me sane and when everyone had an excuse to not try- he’d blow them out the water every time. He truly is one of a kind and I’m proud to have worked with him and form a friendship in that time. Truly a blessing🙌

🎥 NEW VIDEO: My Story with Bulimia & How I Rebuilt My Relationship with Training
This one’s personal, and a bit long! Tonnes of value though if you have ever felt the same. In this video, I open up about my experience with bulimia — and how I went from punishing myself with food and training, to building strength, structure, and self-trust again. I share: - 🧠 What my mindset was like during the worst of it - 🍽️ How I used food and movement to punish myself - 🔁 The turning point that helped me break the cycle - 🏋️‍♂️ How I rebuilt my approach to training and nutrition — slowly, but sustainably - ❤️ What I want you to know if you’ve ever struggled with guilt, shame, or disordered habits This video isn't about being perfect. It’s about being human — and proving to yourself that you can move forward, even if it’s messy. 💬 If this speaks to you, I’m here. Whether it’s in the comments or DMs — you’re not alone.📎 This one’s in the Classroom > Mindset section too if you ever want to come back to it. Let's keep showing up — gently, but powerfully.— Coach Cal

@Caitlan Nicholson If something like Bond Club was around back then we would have a much easier time bud. People sharing experiences and stories makes others feel less alone/ like they’re an alien for going through it. Partner that with some education and protocols to overcome it, it’s powerful shit.
Don’t let anything hold you back
Never let life dictate where you end up. Doesn’t matter what environment you’re brought up in, your family background or what trauma / shit you’ve gone through… If you do the internal work on yourself and try to achieve things you will have a happier life. Some trauma, mental illness, situations are vile and nobody should ever suffer it. but if you can turn that self perceived weakness into strength, and help others suffering through the same shit you went through… wow that’s fulfilling. It hits deep in the core and the mission you’re on makes you feel like you can run through brick walls That is Bond Club to me I’m surrounded by people in my personal life that despite the shit hand they were dealt, they overcame it and either help others now in the area they have suffered in or live happy lives because they did the internal work on themselves to overcome it. It’s powerful. The decisions you make over the next decade do dictate your situation and it does make or break you. So act now, live your fucking life, laugh harder than every bastard in the room and love like you won’t get a hug again. Look after your health and go and achieve living your best life, whatever that may look like 😊🤝 Have a good day team🤪🫶
Cardio in the morning
I recommend to all of you to do a spin class or some form of cardio in the morning! Some of my client lot on the online/1-1 coaching shy away from it at times but honestly the endorphins kick is amazing. I feel ready to attack my day😎 Think of weights as the strength/toning/muscle building/muscle preservation and cardio as heart health💗💗💗 Yes it burns calories and puts us deeper into a deficit.. which is essential for fat loss. But the benefits for your heart will last forever. The stronger that muscle is the better. Not really an educational post as I’m sure you all knew that 😂 Let’s go get it team!💪 Do some damn cardio and look after yourselves 🙌
