If Mother's Day is hard this year, you are not alone. We see you.
This community exists for exactly this moment. For the mothers who won't be getting brunch reservations or handmade cards. For the ones who will spend Sunday wondering if their child thought of them at all. You belong here. And you are so deeply not alone. We want to hear from you this week. What would you want another mom in your situation to know she's not alone in feeling? Share it below — your words might be exactly what someone else needs to read today.

Being abandoned by my son & wife. His wife had felt threatened by me. My 3 grandchildren don’t know who I am.
Ambiguous grief, also known as ambiguous loss, is a type of complicated grief that can occur when someone experiences a significant relationship loss without a physical death. This type of loss can involve a lack of information or closure, and can manifest as sadness, anger, emptiness, and loneliness.

@Roseann Dickson Wow, that’s huge. I’ve learned , that’s what you are supposed to do. Report that about what that caregiver had done. You did what was right. Your son told you what happened. He could have & should have with his wife. You didn’t do wrong. I’m happy to hear they are getting counseling. I’m sorry to hear about your grief loss of your young daughter from cancer. I’ve had cancer as an adult. Grief is not easy. We love our children so much. Healing Blessings to you.
Your Mother's Day guide is here, let's talk about it tomorrow!
Sunday is just a few days away. And we want to make sure you have what you need. Catherine created a free guide called "Getting Through Mother's Day When Your Heart Is Heavy." It covers what you might be feeling and why it's completely normal, how to plan the day intentionally, a self-compassion journaling exercise, and where to find support. DOWNLOAD YOUR MOTHER'S DAY GUIDE Catherine is also hosting a "Mother's Day Check-in" for those navigating a painful Mother's Day. Real conversation. A safe space: 🗓️ Friday May 8, 2026 at 8:30pm EST/ 5:30pm PST You don't have to explain yourself to anyone this week. You just have to show up, here, with us, exactly as you are. 🙂

What a disappointment. Sorry, I’m unable to attend. Can I hear the recording Saturday? Thank you for doing that. I need that. I’m feeling very broken now.
Welcome - Tracey Robison (April 2, 2026)
In this class, Tracey, who is one of my newest team members, joins me as we discuss various lessons that are key for parents of adult children to ponder, Tracey, a successful licensed counselor, will be a coach for us at PACT and will also be leading some of our classes. This recording gives members an opportunity to recognize the depth of her expertise while experiencing the gentleness of her heart and the authenticity of her life. Welcome to the family, Tracey!

Welcome Tracy🥰. I was not on here live. I’m listening to the recording. I loved this topic about listen & being present. Can you please send me the questions so I can journal. Perhaps if anyone who had read this may send me the questions. Thank you🌺

@Tracey Robison I believe there were certain questions I should ask myself. I wanted to journal those.
PACT Tech Guide for members 💛
Hello everyone! Many of you have asked great questions about how to get the most out of the program, so I've put together a Tech Quick-Start Guide just for you. This PDF includes four short video walkthroughs (each just 1–3 minutes) that cover the basics of our community: how to connect with other parents, find your way around the classroom, check the calendar, and join your weekly classes and office hours. It also has a friendly Zoom section that walks you through the buttons and features beyond just joining a call — things like muting your microphone, raising your hand, using the chat, and changing your view. Download it, print it if you like, and keep it nearby. There's no need to memorize anything — this is here for you to peek at whenever you need. Questions? Drop them in the comments or message me directly! 💛

Katherine, Thank you for today’s How to be the best version of myself. I don’t feel I have that problem. I feel that I lost my son completely to his wife. I respect their marriage, their love for each other. I believe she had never liked me. Once they got married I felt the rejection for many reasons. Finally I panicked. I lost my power. The fear swallowed me up.. Please I need a call. Today’s topic was not about me . When I talk about this I feel the anxiety in my body.
