Low energy post breathwork
Man I have had such a low energy week since Tuesday...just feeling flat and tired and no matter how much sleep I get it doesn't seem enough. Lost my cares for cooking and healthy food options ..reaching for the comfort foods. I thought it was usual to be tired for a day or so but is this long normal? Any suggestions?

I saw a video this morning that talked about the body and nervous system not having a memory for your new self that you are choosing so then old habits feel familiar and new ones feel scary...it resonated. Yesterday I think I gave up a bit and was thinking stuff it, who cares about the week just get through it and have a reset on the weekend. But then today I got home and had a bath and relaxed and reflected on the week and I was thinking it's my choice to act this way, I have a choice to be my old self or choose a new way...and then read your message!

I struggled to put my personal law into one statement today so it's a bit long...I place all of my worth on how others treat me or my perception of what others think of me. I am holding myself back in life due to a fear of what others think about me. I am unlikeable, unloveable and misunderstood by others. The reframe ...I am radically worthy, valuable and the world needs more of my magic. I deserve to be seen, held and witnessed by life.

I rewatched the replay this morning and realized I haven't seen anyone respond to Mike's challenge for a shaking video haha...soooo here's me teaching my kids to do it and going nuts in the lounge. Challenge accepted Mike 😁

I planned all my dinners on salads this week and am enjoying the ease of making my dinner and my lunch for the next day at the same time! This one is a Thai chicken salad...yum! Had a 30sec cold shower this morning and definitely hard considering I havent done it for a long time...proud for getting it done. Finally looking at the rise app and enjoying that. Seems my melatonin window is earlier than I thought (between 8.30-9.30) and I generally go to bed after this so might have to work on that. @a.radiant.life_with.caitlin In Whangarei :)

@Josie Nielson woohoo what an awesome change. I have adjusted a bit in that I am still having my little TV time after the kids are in bed BUT only 1 episode rather than 2 (or maybe 3 😅). Yay for small changes that feel big!
Week 1
Kia ora team! Apologies for not being present in here this week. Honoring that my life is full full full at the moment and I had some commitments that took a lot of time and energy this week. Highlight of my week was flying to Wellington for an ECE conference with my teaching team. I haven't flown in 20 years and it was a huge lesson in how far I have come with nervous system regulation and expanding my window of tolerance! I just wanted to add in my goal, why and action steps. This past week I was good at limiting coffee (until conference and the travel/big days made me choose to not follow that for 2 days hehe), and my morning practice has been pretty solid for some time but adding in the bader. This will be a non negotiable from now on (again, didn't feel like I could while away due to shared room situation). This coming week I'll be turning up the dial on the other action steps. Hope everyone is doing well. I'll be catching the replays as I'll be deep in kids bedtime routine at 6.30 but just here to say I am here!

Thanks Sarah! I learned the 2min trick from the book Atomic Habits. It's taking me an age to get through the book but it's good! Naw yea good on you...another mentor I work with challenges everyone on her low $ offers to show up as if you have paid thousands and I try and push myself in that way too with Bader. It's such good value but you only get out what you put in right :)
