SOTE - Nasomatto Pardon
My first time experience with Nasomatto and dang it is a good experience, bonus is, it is wife approved. Thank you @Steve Louis I need to give this another wear, it is simple but complex and has alot of transitions. Regardless I do think I am getting a bottle

What is your collection's weakness?
I've been working hard to build a collection that has me covered for every situation that life throws at me. Cooler weather scents are my favorite and I'm feeling good about that part of my collection. I live in the South, where warmer weather dominates eight or nine months of the year, so I'm focusing on building that part of my collection up, and I'm feeling better about what I have to work with. My weakness? Spring. When fall moves in, I'm covered, but spring, where it starts cool and steadily gets warmer, that's definitely my Achilles heel. This is the one area of my collection where I struggle to find options that really work well. What about you? What part of your collection are you fighting to get built up to where it needs to be?

For me I don’t necessarily believe in seasons of scent some fragrances I change application technique and amount of sprays. While understanding some fragrances perform differently in certain environments.

@Raymond Reeves I think so my collection is in the curation stage but still growing. Wish I had patience and a viable way to get rid of some dupes
SOTD: B683 by Marc-Antoine Barrois
Good Morning Brotherhood from a sunny, cool Chicago. We are still making that transition into spring, and I love seeing the sense of renewal that comes when we actually get to experience the seasons changing. I have been very busy, and this weekend was no exception, but I did get to link up with my brother from another mother, @Paul Bartnicki , for our quarterly frag field trip to House of Dubai and hangout. I walked away with four absolute bangers, in my opinion. My scent of the day is B683 by Marc-Antoine Barrois. It may be reminiscent of its brother Ganymede, but it is not redundant at all. To my nose, this composition is spicier, more resinous, and more earthy, with less of the metallic edge, though there is still a hint of metallic and ozonic presence here. It also comes across as less floral. There feels like a deliberate touch of something edgy and synthetic in the composition that gives it an unusual character, but it is not off-putting at all. This fragrance puts me in mind of a city center just after a fresh rain, when the water is drying on the concrete, people are moving through a busy morning, and all those different aromas are blending together in the air. Projection is fantastic at about 6 feet, and the sillage is just as strong. This is my first full wear, so I cannot speak on longevity yet, but as it stands right now, I give B683 a solid 8.75.

@Jeff Beason thanks I wouldn’t compare the two in that way they each have their own lane but I see what you are getting at.

SOTD: Signature Seraphim Red by Zaharoff
Good Morning Brotherhood another warm rainy day in the Chi sitting comfortably in the high 60s and I’m not mad at it at all. One day closer to the weekend and I’m determined to get at least one solid day of real rest in because it’s been nonstop lately. Now for the scent of the day… this one is a bit of a letdown story. About a month ago I grabbed some samples from the house of Zaharoff after hearing a lot of hype from the Brotherhood of Scent, and I even secured a full bottle on the secondhand market at a steal thinking I struck gold. Today I went with Signature Seraphim Red. On paper, this one checks boxes I typically enjoy. It opens with that salty aquatic breeze that gives you a fresh ocean air vibe, followed by light florals that keep things airy and slightly sweet. As it settles, you get a soft resinous woody base that should anchor the composition. Sounds like a win… but the execution just isn’t there for me. About two hours into this wear and I had to overspray heavily just to get anything noticeable, which is almost unheard of in my rotation. Projection is virtually nonexistent—it’s sitting extremely close to the skin, and even at my desk I have to search for it. The sillage follows suit… someone would have to be well within arm’s reach to even catch a hint of this. Now to be fair, it’s not a bad fragrance—it’s actually quite pleasant in a soft, understated way. But for my taste and expectations, especially with all the hype behind it, this just doesn’t move the needle. At best, I see this as a bedtime or intimate setting scent. Unfortunately, this one is not full bottle worthy for me. Final rating: 6.75 Make it a great day and keep pushing forward OutCasts 👊🏾
