Breakfast this morning
Juice is one of the best ways to start your day! It provides immediate fuel to your cells and gently wakes up and flushes your digestive system. Your first meal of the day should always be the lightest…not the heaviest! You are breaking your overnight fast, hence why it’s called break-fast. I had 1.5 L in total (roughly 700 cals) What did you have? Post a pic below👇🏽 Let's inspire each other!

Started today with watermelon 🤤 but I usually have a juice to start the day as well and then follow it up with a second breakfast of a fruit.
Tested a new smoothie bowl (it's gooood!)
I tried out a new combo this morning and it was amazing! This is made with CAROB powder. It is naturally caffeine-free and has a sweet, earthy, caramel-y taste. I didn't properly measure ingredients, but this is the rough estimate... - 3 bananas (I used unfrozen and this made it extra creamy) - 2 pitted Medjool dates - 2 tbsp carob powder (add more if you want more caramel flavour Put everything into a high speed blender, add a little water, and blend until smooth and creamy. Top with berries of choice. I used fresh strawberries from the farmers market and it was insane! This would be perfect also if you have kids and are wanting to feed them healthier foods or get them on board with raw, as it's super clean, dairy-free and tastes like dessert.

hey, my name is Brittney or Brit. I’m in Missouri, USA currently. I learned about raw foods a long time ago, probably about 10 years ago, and I dabbled in it here and there throughout my 11 years of being Whole Foods plant based vegan. For the past five years, I’ve been gluten-free as well. I started to make more gourmet raw vegan foods about four or five years ago and still incorporate them and more basic raw vegan food. I eat a lot of fruit during the day and then in the evening it’s a salad or a raw vegan wrap or there are days where I still do a cooked meal. But everything is high carb low fat and I’ve been this way for the past 11 years. I came to this lifestyle because when I first started, I did the elimination diet to figure out what was going on because I was given medical grade laxatives, and I didn’t want to continue down that path and really further disrupt my elimination cycle. So I did the elimination diet to see what could help and just stumbled upon Whole Foods plant based, and in the beginning, I was worried because I didn’t know if anybody else who was eating it at the time until I was trying to search for it, and only a few people really popped up at that time and they helped me know how much to eat and stuff like that. I had a lot of health issues in the beginning, since then I have cleared up everything right now I’m focused on loosing weight. In my free time I enjoy hiking, really being out in nature in general, doing some kind of art, getting creative in the kitchen, watching a good show or movie with snuggles from my daughter, and just trying to be present in life. (I’m sorry if there is some errors in this post, I did voice to text because it’s much faster, and mom life haha 😆)

I've been vegan for 11 years and before that vegetarian 2 years. I am starting to dabble in raw vegan cuisine. I’m a full time mama
