over the weekend I applied for five writing contests, including a short story essay which I included the framework from chapter 3 which includes my Climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro from my book. Are there any cool poetry or writing contest that you all are entering right now? I was surprised to see how many contests are closing in January, with a few that run through May. There is a good amount of poetry in my book so I have been entering those into any contest I can find. I have also registered for a live poetry reading at a local coffee shop. They are starting to have virtual sessions each week before the in person- I’m excited and nervous about this. Does anyone have any tips and advice on how they started building out their business plan for their book? I have my book proposal, and I am working on my marketing strategy to do keynote speeches.
