Day 3 ADHD Focus Reset
I completed day 3 of the ADHD Focus Reset My mood today: 2 My focus score today: 2 Reflection on body doubling: I was present for the Body Doubling session, but unable to do what I set out to do. Not a big problem - I'll rebound shortly and do those tasks. Optional reflection/win: I had a shitty night's sleep, after yet another argument with my spouse. We're probably going to call it quits after 30 years. I've been unemployed for 7 months and now headed to divorce. My emotions are as dysregulated as they possibly can be. My life sucks right now. Focus on anything is impossible.

I completed day 2 of the ADHD Focus Reset My mood today: 7 (A high score for me...) My focus score today: 7 (Not bad...) Reflection on breathwork: This was my second breathwork experience; the first coming with Cohort 3. Wow! It's always kind of amazing. No emotional breakthroughs or revelations, but the serene calmness I experienced is rare for me. My head is always spinning at high velocity; juggling too many thoughts, overwhelmed. I actually fell asleep. Not sure when it happened; I feel like it was toward the end of the session. I may have only slept for 5 minutes; not sure. Hard to quantify passage of time when in that state of mind. I slowly became aware that people were Sharing their Experience. Optional reflection/win: WINS! I'm gonna count them when I can, no matter how small. I need that "Evidence". Last night I went to see a close friend of mine and his band play. I LOVE experiencing Live music! In line with the Focus Reset - I did not drink any alcohol. People were trying to buy me a beer all night. The owner of the Club offered me a free beer several times. This isn't too big of a Win - when I'm out, and driving myself, I don't drink. Just not worth the risk. I love beer, I'm in the Wine Industry. But, I just don't drink & drive. Slightly bigger Win - I haven't smoked Cannabis in 3 days. That was offered to me several times last night too. Also not that big a deal for me to not be using recreational drugs, But, since I committed to (LEVEL 2) of the Focus Reset, I'm gonna take the 'W'.

I meant to add that, during the breathwork session, I had a lot of wonderful creative ideas and thoughts! I guess my busy, overwhelmed head doesn't have room for spontaneous creative ideas. A little breathwork sure opened a large space allowing that to occur.

@Kat Mul I think heard the next 5-Day challenge would be July??? But maybe it’s even later this year.
Awakening Assessment
Just realized something brutal: I'm not actually bad at routines. I had a great one when I had a job. The structure was never mine. It was borrowed from external accountability, and without it, the voice calling me "broken and lazy" runs the whole show. The chaos isn't in my life. It's in the gap. My reason for being here - I'm in a hole so deep, I don't see the light and don't know which way is up.
