I’d probably agree with Justice’s answer. That was the book my online philosophy buddy recommended years ago as an introduction and I found it to be a very helpful overview.
Glad to be here! Great call @Tim!
Hey all! Just wanted to say I'm looking forward to being active here. If you love anime (JJK is popping off!!! Big One Piece fan, too) or music (I produce/write), or if you love writing novels/manga/books (writing a manga and one novel currently), then down to chock it up with you!

Hey, Jermaine! It’s great to have you here. I’m a fellow musician as well. I write, sing, and play guitar with a pinch of piano. Send me a DM with any links; I’d love to check out your stuff. I also had an idea for a novel forever ago, and would love to hear what you’ve been writing about!
Canceled
I’m so sorry guys, but I have to cancel today’s meeting. This is because I am deathly sick right now and I will not be getting better anytime soon.. Thanks, Tim

Praying. Hope you feel better soon, bro!
Free Will
Is anyone familiar with some of the best defenses of free will? A long time ago, I read about 60% or so of “Free Will” by Mark Balaguer and I’d like to go back and finish it. That’s all I’ve really read on the subject.

Foundation of a Worldview
I am going to give this posting thing a shot. I have been reading Matthew Bates's books "Why the Gospel?" and "Salvation by Allegiance Alone". In both he argues we get the good news of Christianity wrong and miss the foundational element of the worldview. Simply put, Jesus as the enthroned king should be the starting point. As I am looking into Worldview Apologetics, it seems to me that this is a great starting place for any conversations; establishing who the ruler is in that worldview. You'd discuss this through conversation and questions and stories really, but ultimately you'd have to get this established first. Anyway, am I onto something? Probably simple for most here but figured I'd throw it out there anyway.

Hi, Daniel! Thank you for posting! I’m not sure I quite understand the key difference in this presentation of the gospel versus other presentations. Is “King Jesus” significantly different than a gospel presentation where Jesus is referred to as the Son of God and the second Person of the Trinity? I always thought this implied He is ruler and king. I’m trying to understand the implications of referring to Jesus as king that wouldn’t also apply when referring to Jesus as Lord, God, or the Son of God.
