Mixing Calisthenics & Weights
I've started off my fitness journey with more calisthenics, but then quickly transitioned into weights. I did manage to carry over a good few base skills from calisthenics like pullups, pushups and dips But now I wonder, how do you actually mix calisthenics & weights in a simple split? I'm currently doing upper lower split (4 days a week) and have found it hard to really mix it together without diminishing returns Let's talk about it!

Exactly what @Brannon Capps said. I got to 50kg pullups and dips for reps, was doing handstand pushups, muscle ups, front lever pullups, and most of my training was STILL weight training. You need to look at what the exercises DO, and not what they are. Said differently, you need to know what an exercises purpose is (strength, hypertrophy, conditioning, etc), versus what it IS (calisthenics vs free weights vs machine). Hope this helps bro
