How is everyone doing this weekend? Anyone have any goals for next week that they are working on? I do my best to take time to relax on the weekend but still end up working too much. I know a lot of you are on here looking for tips, I wonder if anyone has any for me? How do you prioritise peace and relaxation when you feel that fire under you making you work all the time?

Deep and real peace only come from being close to God. In this world full of distractions it appears that many people do not experience this. If you want to find peace and relaxation then maybe the first question to deal with is do you fear death ? A fear of death is extremely common and drives a large amount of human behaviour - in my opinion including an inability to truly relax for many people. I love life and want to live to be 100.. But I don’t fear death at all in any way. So the first question you should honestly ask yourself is do you fear death ?

@Cameron Walton I want to get one of these. I have seen basic ones on Tik Tok for about £80 but I don’t know if they are any good or not. Would it be possible to start a sub group in here of members who are prepared to agree to do at least 20000 steps a day ? Maybe with daily updated step counters for everyone visible to all members of the group ? Would it be technically possible to link every persons step counters to update the website directly daily ? This public daily accountability would be key. A sub group would allow discussions about the benefits etc that everyone would experience and if this sub group was viewable by members of the man group as well then maybe it would encourage some of them to commit to the 20000 steps a day sub group … I would be fascinated to see the feedback from members regarding real life benefits over time … Maybe there could be a small monthly fee for membership to this sub group to cover its costs and to be one of many paid for extra services and offerings in the group ? The benefits of encouraging potentially many members to do their 20000 steps a day would be a concrete way of helping fellow members in a good way. Once you have say 3000 general members then maybe you would have a few hundred members sign up and pay for membership of this sub group
My Progress Today
Walking is a simple, low-impact form of physical activity that offers wide-ranging health benefits. It helps improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthens muscles and bones, and supports weight management. Regular walking can also boost mental well-being by reducing stress, anxiety, and symptoms of depression. Because it requires no special equipment and can be done almost anywhere, walking is one of the most accessible and sustainable ways to stay active and maintain overall health.

Scientific studies prove beyond a doubt that daily walks are the most effective way of feeling happier in life. I would say that the longer you walk each day the happier you will be.Once you are happier then maybe following this groups course could be a good way to get ready to start achieving your goals in life ….
Walking and coffee
The advice that first got me interested in this group was the advice to be outdoors for many hours every day. This is excellent advice for many people. This is something that I have always tried to do. So this involves a lot of walking every day. I live in London which is great for its huge variety of possible walks. What makes my walks more enjoyable for me is my regular stops for coffee. Obviously cafes with outdoor tables are the best so you remain outdoors. There are a wide variety of choices for cafes in London. But I recommend Pret - they have cafes everywhere in central London many with outdoor seating. They have a full choice of coffees starting at 99p for a filter coffee (available in most Prets). Their £5 monthly subscription gives you 50% discount on up to 5 coffees everyday (so only 49p for a filter coffee) My recommendation - sign up for a Pret subscription and learn where all of their cafes with outdoor seating are. Then have a very long walk every day with regular coffee stops at Prets. Trust me it makes the walking more enjoyable and you get to meet and chat to lots of random and interesting people sitting outside these cafes. When I leave my house for a walk I have a “destination” of my first Pret stop and then slowly walk towards another Pret. For me personally this is much preferable to just going for a long walk with no destination. For anyone looking for change in their life - just get out walking as much as you can every day ….

@Oliver Ben Why is it that people do not like going to Leicester town center ?

@Ewa Dabrowska I have not been further North than Stockholm in Sweden - but I have always been fascinated by the reindeer herding Sami tribe in the North. I have heard it said that they are extremely tuned into each others thoughts and feelings because of their totally natural lifestyle - although maybe things are changing these days … As for recommendations to visit in London it all depends on your interests - there are truly world class art galleries and theatres and football teams and so much more. There is the classic tourist sites and then it all depends on your interests .. Maybe you can meet up with some local people from this group when you are here ?

Regarding what you said on the live stream about a possible paywall - what would happen if you say kept the free membership steadily growing until it reaches 3000 members ? Would you maybe sell 120 one to o e courses and get 60 k revenue over time ? Could you then get 12 people ( ten percent of the120 ) to then purchase a 3 year £500 a month course from you ? The way you are going you can realistically build to 3000 free members. But could as little as 12 of them enable everything else to happen and build over time ? Obviously long term once members are getting great value from their memberships then the real big money is in a vast amount of worldwide members all happily paying monthly for the benefits their membership gives them … But for now would 3000 free memberships mean 120 one to one courses sold and maybe 12 long term super students doing 3 year courses at £500 a month ? It’s always worth considering all possibilities when making a decision - maybe this would be one option to consider …

I strongly think that you should keep the basic group membership as it is at the moment for free. Because as you keep putting out content the membership number will steadily keep growing. The site will get better and better because of that. You can then monetise out of an ever growing amount of members. For example you could charge say between £10 and £30 for people to be assessed to see if they are self accepting enough to move onto the second step or not. That’s just an idea you could monetise in many ways. What is truly important is having as large a number of members as possible to market to with all of the paid for extras. As the membership number grows and you officially appoint Admin roles etc to assist you then your own time input will decrease considerably as you will have people to do anything for you. And they will volunteer for free for you so you can appoint them as soon as you want. To be brutally honest I think if you put the site behind a paywall now exactly as it is you will retain a few loyal members and you will keep getting new members most of whom will only stay one month or for the free trial. Only a few loyal followers would remain. This is my very honest opinion. Better to have a steadily growing amount of free members and then work out how to make some money from them …
