@Isaac Igbo it’s not that deep to me, I just think the sound of rain is calming sometimes.
Why do you do it?
Most people here are united by some desire for self-improvement by some metric, but how many people know why they are doing it. Whats your reasoning for what you are doing and what drives you to do it. I don’t think its possible to make real progress without something deeper underneath, and figuring that thing out will catapult everything else forward

There have been many times and situations where I haven’t been able to show up for other people in the way I should. I haven’t had the capacity to able to care for people in ways that I know I can and want to. I also haven’t been able to show up for myself as-well in a lot of situations. Part of the reason for self improvement is to be that person that can show up. Fortunately I think that person I want to be is someone who has struggled in a lot of different ways, but has had the opportunity to learn and grow from it and then be able to teach it. I think that’s where a lot of the value is.

Currently reading this book, I recommend it to everyone In here. It speak a lot on similar things that Cameron talks about.

Let’s give reading a go
One new habit I’ve picked up working with Cameron is turning my phone off and away at 9pm. This is something I’ve never done before but I’ve been doing constantly every night. I actually quite enjoy this time as I allow myself to stop working and worrying about anything and just let myself relax, think and write. I’ve decided to purchase a book so that will now be what I do every night before I sleep

Post a meal you’ve eaten this weekend
As I’m on an aggressive mini cut I have to be a lot more selective with my foods. I find it easier to have one meal that gets me most of my healthy fats. Which allows me to focus more on my carbohydrates and protein in my other meals That’s mystery meat is salmon btw
