How’s it going out there
How are you all doing this week? I don’t mind admitting I’m bloody exhausted! Mentally, physically, emotionally. Ready to clock off, but still a mountain of things to do. How are you all doing?

@Hayley Partridge You are not alone. This season feels like an ongoing blooper reel and I genuinely think we’ll be laughing about all of it someday 😂.
Everyone say ‘hi’ to Amy
Welcome to @Amy Moore 🫶. Amy, when you get a sec tell us a bit about yourself. Can be as deep or as surface level as you want. No pressure. Important stuff like Tea or coffee, cats or dogs, fave biscuit. Or tell us about your business. Where you’re at. What you offer. Where you’re going. What you need help with. Whatever you’re comfortable with. Good to have you here x

Who is your ‘ideal client’?
Most business owners think they know who they’re speaking to… until they try marketing to them and they hit a blank. Your ideal client isn’t “women aged 30–45 who want more confidence.” Or “men aged 30-50 who need more time back” That’s a census category, not a buyer. If your marketing feels vague. Or yoursales feel sticky… If you’re constantly second-guessing your marketing content… You don’t have a motivation problem or a problem with ‘being a perfectionist’. You have a clarity problem. Your ideal client profile is the foundation of everything: Your brand. Your pricing. Your content. Your pipeline. Your confidence. Get this wrong, and the rest of your business becomes guesswork. Get it right, and suddenly everything starts landing. Tell me one thing you think you know about your ideal client… and I’ll tell you if it’s too surface-level.

I think I know this: She’s not here to build a big, flashy brand. She’s here to build a meaningful one. My ideal client is a heart-led, often introverted or multi-passionate entrepreneur who values depth, not just growth. She's creative, intentional, and probably a little tired of all the noise and pressure in the online business space. She craves calm, clarity, and a space that reminds her she’s allowed to do it her way.
Daily journal prompt - unwanted baggage
I had two conversations in the last 24 hours that proper made me stop and think. One was with a client yesterday, she was really wound up about this one thing in her business that’s about 90% sorted. We agreed it is not coming with her into 2026. Absolutely not. Door closed. New growth chapter loading. Then last night, one of my daughters casually drops: “I don’t want to still be doing this in five years.” (Relationship issues at 20 yrs old suck bless her). Same energy as my client earlier in the day and it got me thinking… We all have something, a habit, a task, a pattern, a role, a way of working, that we’re quietly tolerating now but absolutely don’t want trailing behind us into our future. So here’s today’s prompt: What’s one thing you’re doing now that you do not want to take with you into next year (or the next five years)… and what tiny shift could you make towards closing that loop? What needs finishing, tweaking, handing over, or letting go?

One thing I definitely don’t want to carry with me into next year (or the next five) is overcommitting out of guilt or FOMO. I keep joining memberships, courses, saying yes to “just one more thing”… and then I end up overwhelmed, scattered, and stuck in analysis mode instead of actually doing. The tiny shift I’m making? 🌱Choosing my “ride or dies”—the tools, memberships, and communities that truly align🛑 Letting go of anything that drains me, even if it’s “good” ✔️ Creating white space in my schedule so I can breathe, rest, and focus It’s time to close the loop on busy for the sake of busy. I want peaceful productivity, not hustle chaos.

Oh I love this! 🙌 Productive procrastination is so real — I’ve totally been that person who’s signed up for All. The. Things. thinking it would move me forward but really it just kept me busy and distracted. That “no new subscriptions for a year” pact is genius and turning that into a money pot? Even better! Honestly, I might steal that idea for 2026 😅 The “not now” instead of “no” mindset shift is grounding too. Thanks for sharing
What will you do?
I’m trying to build actual time off into my weekend instead of pretending I’m not working whilst working 🤣. We’ve even forced a date night tonight, new steak restaurant (sorry vegans) AND the cinema. We haven’t managed one in months, so I’m fully counting it as self-care and connection with my partner who we forget isn’t just a colleague 🤣🫣. So here’s your very casual prompt for today: What’s one tiny thing you can build into your weekend that feels good for you, not the kids, not the business, just you? Doesn’t have to be big. Could be a lie-in, a walk, a nap, ignoring everyone for 20 minutes, or doing absolutely nothing without apologising for it.

@Maria Bello Ohhh I took the nap, two full hours of glorious nothingness 😴🙌 Perks of having kids over 20… the nap struggle shifts to a whole other kind of chaos (think life advice, relationship drama, and “what’s for dinner?” texts at 10PM 😂). Enjoy your tiny human manager ( They grow up so fast) 💜🤗 And may you one day master the art of the fake nap again, though I agree, 4-year-olds are basically lie detectors in pajamas 😅

@Hayley Partridge I have to nap often (hello chronic pain in my ass illness 😅), but the guilt? Ugh, she’s loud. Still working on telling her to sit down and hush. Waking up groggy is the worst! I’ve only mastered it out of sheer survival 😂 Sending you permission to rest in whatever way works for you 💟
