I was debating the idea about taking my Borealis diving. My horologist had suggested that we do a pressure test first. Glad we did. There was a tiny bubble at 99 feet (3 atm) simulated pressure. SO I borrowing my son’s Casio to dive (with a fresh battery) and will be fly fishing with the Borealis. When I get back I’ll get the seals replaced. It’s so nice to have a great horologist so close.

Morning gents, going with the seiko fifty-five fathoms today. This is my daily watch as I only have two watches haha. But I plan on getting a few more starting soon.

Today I am wearing the Seiko SE Monster "Antartica" aka "Happy Feet". It earned its nickname because of the penguin foot prints on the left side of the dial. I love this dial - it has a texturized glacier look with foot prints making it look like actual penguin walked on icy snow. Seikos usually knock it out of the park with their special edition models and this is no exception.
