First Thing You Built That Made You Proud
A baseball bat. In HS shop class - I loved working with the lathe and I loved baseball so I thought it was worth attempting to make a bat. It turned out really well. I used it in two games (and batting practice) before it developed a hairline fracture from hitting the ball too close to my hands. One of the few times in high school that learning, creativity and usefulness came together.
🔧 What Tool Do You Have the Most Trouble Using? (Win $100 Gift Card!)
Some tools just don’t cooperate, no matter how much you practice. Maybe it’s that tricky hand plane that never cuts quite right, the table saw that always feels intimidating, or the tool you just can’t seem to get the hang of. Share the tool that gives you the most trouble — and why — in the comments below! 🏆 Prize: $100 Sawinery Gift Card (aka guilt-free tool money 😏) 📅 Winner announced on September 22!

Palm router. Table router is ok, but palm router, especially setting it up properly is probably my biggest weakness.

DeWalt 20v drill. Seems I’m using it almost every day. In my garage or in the house.
Workspace Height
I have three main work stations that are 41 inches tall (w/3 inch, locking wheels) The height makes it easier for me due to less bending over. 1. Table saw 2. Miter saw 3. Work table
