I am Ahmy and English is my first (and only language). I know how to say hello in a few languages as I think it is just a nice thing to do when you can greet someone in their native language. I am on a mission to learn Spanish (to talk with my adopted niece and her husband and their children in their languages - they are Puerto Rican and Spanish) I would like to learn Italian, French and Vietnamese - they just sound beautiful to me I have not started my learning yet I don't know my favorite foods from the cultures. I am not travelled and hesitate to say Tacos or Spaghetti or Crepes.... not wanting to be disrespectful to the richness of each culture. I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 25 years and now am operating as a Life Guide helping people learn skills to manage their thoughts and emotions so they can have healthier relationships with self, life, source and Enjoy Being Human. Hey everyone, I'm Bilkis from India and I've been learning Japanese for a year now, I started watching anime last year after a friend of mine recommended it and absolutely fell in love with it. So if you ask me why am I learning a language that have 3 different writing systems, kanjis are as double as hard as Chinese hanzi and I won't even use it in my professional life? Well I'd say watching anime and Ghibli movies without subtitles would be sooo worth it. P.s: I wanna visit Japan in the future too soo there goes my communication skills.
