週末について話しましょう 🗣️ This Saturday, let’s practise talking about our weekend in Japanese! Listen to the example audio, then record yourself using the template below. This prestigious award honours people who have made major contributions to the arts and culture. And Toriyama absolutely earned it. 🐉 The Creator of Dragon Ball Toriyama is best known as the creator of: 📖 Dragon Ball 📺 Dragon Ball Z The adventures of Son Goku inspired millions of fans around the world. For many people, Dragon Ball was their first anime. Its influence can still be seen today in: ⚔️ action anime 💥 power-up transformations 🏆 tournament arcs 😂 humour mixed with epic battles Many modern creators openly say: “We grew up on Dragon Ball.” Why This Matters What makes this story special is that a Japanese manga artist was honoured by France. @Ashton Willis Shōgun means Japan’s military ruler — the person who held real political and military power for much of Japanese history, even while the emperor still existed. The series is called Shōgun because it centres on the political struggle to become Japan’s ruler, inspired by the rise of Tokugawa Ieyasu, history's most famous Shogun.

In 3 days, we will have Ocha & Chat, our live call where we practise and use Japanese together 😊 This week, we’ll focus on: 👉 Negative い-adjectives We’ll practise describing things that are: - not fun - not tasty - not interesting - not good And we’ll use them while chatting together and building confidence speaking. --- 🧠 Mini Lesson: Negative い-Adjectives To make an い-adjective negative, change: 〜い → 〜くないです Examples: おいしい → おいしくないです oishii → oishikunai desu delicious → not delicious たのしい → たのしくないです tanoshii → tanoshikunai desu fun → not fun おもしろい → おもしろくないです omoshiroi → omoshirokunai desu interesting → not interesting ながい → ながくないです nagai → nagakunai desu long → not long --- 🗣️ Example Sentences この映画はおもしろくないです。 Kono eiga wa omoshirokunai desu.
