Small Tip About False Negative Reviews
Last night I lost some sleep after getting a really negative review on my book.😭 My rating dropped from 4.8 to 4 stars. I started thinking it might be a competitor because the review did not really reflect what the book is about. I've attached an image of the review, but to summarise, my book clearly says it's about scientific research and not a story! Also, how can the author leave an honest review if they have not fully read my book and especially not after a few pages. šŸ™ˆ After stressing about it for a while I decided to contact Amazon instead of just accepting it. I went into my KDP account, opened Help, then Contact Us and started a live chat with Amazon support. I explained that the reviewer said the title was misleading even though my description clearly explains what the book covers. The support agent raised it with their moderation team and said they will review it within 24 hours. I do not know yet whether they will remove it or not, but what I learned is that you do not have to just sit there worrying if something feels off about a review. If you genuinely believe a review misrepresents your book or could be from a competitor, it is worth contacting Amazon through the chat and asking them to review it against their guidelines. Just thought I would share because I honestly did not know that option existed until today. I will provide an update in a day or two and let you know if the review disappears. ā˜˜ļø

@Danielle Marietta Thanks for sharing ā˜ŗļø
Unpopular writing opinion:
One of the biggest mistakes new writers make is trying to write perfectly on the first draft. Professional writers focus on progress, not perfection. Try this simple method: 1ļøāƒ£ Write your first draft without editing 2ļøāƒ£ Take a short break 3ļøāƒ£ Edit for clarity and flow later This keeps creativity flowing and prevents writer’s block. Question for the community: What part of writing slows you down the most starting, editing, or finishing?

Random live while editing! Come say hi!
I'm editing today! I figured I'd try just going live and seeing if anyone wants to pop on and ask questions...or just to say HELLO!

Have You Used IngramSpark?
We had a great discussion on uploading your manuscript on IngramSpark. If you are at that phase of publishing, you'll want to watch this. I'll post the video under the Classroom tab on Monday! Have a great weekend!

@Jordan H Thank you for your question. I mainly publish and work on non-fiction books, especially in areas such as self-help, personal development, leadership, business, and educational content. I focus on creating books that are informative, practical, and valuable to readers. In addition to publishing, I also assist authors with ebook writing, course content development, and structured learning materials. My goal is always to produce well organized and engaging content that meets the needs of the target audience. If you would like, I would be happy to learn more about your project and how I can support your book.
