I’m so glad I joined this group. I’ve been going around checking YouTube channels of members and I’m enjoying it so much. I have to say, I’m loving the content from @Mike Bayer . You share very solid wise advice. I love your perspective! Very inspiring. 😊❤️ I’d love to see more channels but not everyone has a link in their profile. A few minutes ago we hit 4,189 watch hours on our channel. Two weeks ago on our weekly community call, @Alexa Saarenoja asked me some really tough (but much needed) questions: what question is my channel answering? What pain points am I solving? What is my channel really about? Who is my audience? When Alexa showed my channel on that zoom call, it was the first time I “really” looked at my channel holistically and it was a wake up call. Those questions caused me to do a deep dive on EVERYTHING. I’m learning to be more focused and intentional. Now, just need 354 more subscribers 🙏🏽. So grateful for this community and Alexa.

I feel like I should run around and celebrate, but it just sort of landed when I was focussing on everything else that I'm trying to juggle! I guess this would be a good time to stop and notice that I've just reached a goal.

So on a random Saturday 3 weeks ago I woke up feeling down in the dumps. As one tends to do when the mood is low, I picked up my phone and started doom scrolling. Then YouTube gave me Alexa’s video, and of course I clicked on it. I genuinely don’t know what it was about that video, but I felt like she was kicking me in the butt and telling me to get up and do something to move myself closer to my dreams. So I immediately put my phone down, got dressed, and filmed this video; https://youtu.be/6vGTvv-vhfs?si=bZ-6CK9dgNcGO2Xo Then I went about my merry life, and … it started to snowball! Within 2 days I’d gone from 67 subs to 90. I told my husband, I’m going to hit 100 subs by Sunday! Well, I closed Sunday with about 400 subs 🤯🤯🤯 And it just! kept! going!!!!! Today, just 3 weeks later, I have almost 3,500 subs and 62k views! I 👏 was 👏 not 👏 ready! 😅 So here I am, feeling all the imposter syndrome in the world as people keep DMing me asking for help/advice. But also suuuper excited for what the future holds 😁 Thank you Alexa for the kick in the butt all the way here in Kenya 🤩🤩🤩
