Having THIS will save your coaching career Inbox
Here's a tip that will save you from a ton of heartache in your career as a coach… Before you jump into taking on clients, make sure you have a proven structure to follow (or you're setting yourself up for failure). For example: I've been in the coaching industry for over 20 years now. And I've watched a ton of coaches try to "wing it" with their clients... Showing up to each session with nothing but good intentions and generic coaching questions. Back in the day, you could get away with this. The industry was new... Expectations were lower... And clients were just happy to have someone listen to them. However, those days are LONG gone. The reality is that coaching without a proven structure in 2025 is like trying to build a house without blueprints. Sure, you might get lucky... But most likely you'll end up with a mess. And there's another reality you need to be aware of... The coaching industry isn't the unregulated Wild West it used to be. Clients are getting smarter... They're doing their research... And they're not interested in coaches who are just "figuring it out" as they go. They want someone with real skills... Someone who knows exactly what they're doing... And has the experience (and results) to back it up. This is why having a proven structure is so crucial. Because without one... You'll struggle to get results for your clients... Which means they won't stick around... Which means they definitely won't refer their friends... Which means your coaching business will slowly die. This is more common than you might think. Good coaches... with good intentions... but no real system to follow. And eventually they give up... Thinking coaching "just isn't for them." When really... They just needed a proven structure to follow. This is actually why we are getting the Expert Coach program ICF certified. And certifying our Relationship You Deserve coaches... Not just teaching the system... But actually GIVING our students real clients to work with...
