Today was superduper!
Today I attended a small sourdough-making workshop in someone’s home, and it turned out to be such a meaningful and inspiring experience. The two women facilitating the workshop are former teachers who have transitioned into health and wellness coaching, and they shared about the products and wellness philosophy they support through Juice Plus. I was really impressed learning more about the products—how focused they are on whole-food nutrition and supporting a healthy, organic lifestyle. The workshop itself was centered around learning the process of making sourdough, which was fascinating. I loved learning about the steps involved—working with the “mother” starter and the process of developing and caring for it over time. It really struck me how intentional the process is. Sourdough is fermented, natural, and one of the healthiest breads we can make for ourselves, which aligns so much with my interest in holistic and organic approaches to food. During the conversation I mentioned that I’m a trained chef and culinary school graduate, and that opened up a really exciting discussion. One of the women asked if I had ever considered starting a restaurant because there aren’t many healthy options locally. That naturally led into talking about meal planning and holistic nutrition, and I had the chance to share a little about Ayurveda as well as a small introductory e‑book I created. One of the participants was interested enough to take the Ayurvedic quiz to learn more about her constitution. What I appreciated most was how supportive and encouraging everyone was. The conversation felt collaborative and inspiring, and the women hosting even expressed interest in staying connected and possibly including me in future workshops. It was a great reminder that when we gather around food—especially food that is nourishing and thoughtfully prepared—it opens the door for deeper conversations about health, lifestyle, and community. I left feeling energized, empowered, and grateful for the connections that were cultivated!

Our Mind(s)
When we set goals, we often rely on our conscious mind… but that’s only a small part of the picture. Most of our behaviour is driven by the unconscious mind, which follows what we believe to be true. So if you don’t truly believe something is possible for you, you’ll unconsciously hold yourself back. Change the belief… and the actions start to follow. What belief is helping — or holding you back — right now?
