So Im doing something a little crazy.
As you may know I was hired at Nuvex Nova as Content Strategist I pitched the CEO of Nuvex Nova on something that has nothing to do with the content I'm actually hired to do for the company. I told him, straight up, this ones not about Nuvex Nova. This ones about him, personally. And honestly, about me too. Here's the idea. People trust people way faster than they trust a company page. If he just documents what he's actually doing, building the company, the decisions, the stuff thats genuinely hard people start to feel like they know him. And once they trust him, that trust extends to the company too. Its a completely different kind of credibility than any company account can build on its own. (I wasn't asking him to become a content creator. I was asking him to let a few real moments get captured as they happen. A voice note after a hard call. A thought mid-decision. Something that actually happened that day. I'd take the raw material and shape it from there.) We'd already talked about a podcast idea once before. I pitched it again, but as its own separate thing, running outside the regular content pipeline. Relaxed. Recurring. Documenting the journey as it happens. Not scripted, not polished. I told him the truth too, Im not just pitching something I have no stake in. I've been getting into personal branding and content strategy on my own, so this is a genuine two-way thing. He documents his side of building the company. I help shape it, and probably learn a ton doing it. And it helps me build something for myself at the same time. Not me asking him for extra work. Just a real collaboration. He said yes almost immediately. I can absolutely do that, small documentations here and there. We should do a raw podcast. Then he said he'd been thinking the same thing, and wanted to collab properly. We're starting with the podcast. I'm planning it, and I'm hosting it. Two personal brands, one real conversation, starting now. (Repost this ♻️) P.S. if you pitched your boss on something that had nothing to do with your actual job, would you expect a yes?

@Usman Ali yes man you get it
So my Internship at a Bank is finally over!
6 weeks ago I posted about starting my internship at a bank. It's finally over, and ngl, mixed feelings. Okay so, it was a good experience, no cap, genuinely learned a lot. But also... kinda boring? Like the full corporate environment just isn't it for someone who's obsessed with entrepreneurship. The 9-to-5, sit-in-your-cubicle energy was giving something I did not vibe with. Good experience though, for real, zero regrets. Anyway life said "no rest for you" apparently, because I've been so busy (grateful, not complaining). Landed a remote job as a Content Strategist for a US company, which is honestly kind of a flex I'm still processing. I don't know why, but everything in my life decided to get busy at the exact same time. It's giving glow-up era, but also giving "why am I like this," send help, I have mixed feelings and I'm not even mad about it.

@Usman Ali yes for sure
New chapter. Small announcement.
I'm officially the Marketing & Content Intern at Nuvex Nova (An AI platform for US citizens). Here's how it happened. 1. I sent over my content portfolio. Not a resume. A portfolio. 2. The founder actually looked at it. 3. Within 3 days, I had a conversation with the CEO. Not a recruiter. The actual person running the thing. (This is the part that still doesn't feel real to me.) They liked what I'd built. Specifically the thinking behind it, not just the output. So here's what I'll actually be doing. Handling their content, end to end. The strategy behind it, not just the posting. Figuring out how they show up, what they say, and honestly, how AI can create real leverage for them without turning into noise. And if I do this right, the plan isn't just to run their content. It's to become the face of it. Now the part I'm genuinely stuck on. My title is technically "Content Strategist." But most of the time I talk about how AI actually creates leverage what to automate, what to leave alone, what still needs a human doing the thinking. So am I a Content Strategist? An AI Strategist? Something in between that doesn't have a name yet? Genuinely don't know. Might just make something up. (Kidding. Mostly.) P.S. If you've got a better name for my job title, I'm taking suggestions. And if this is the kind of thing you want to watch unfold, stick around, this is only the start.

@Usman Ali I would go with Ai content strategist too
I built an AI that only exists to tell coaches their content sucks - before it goes live.
Not "improve" it. Not "optimize" it. Tell you straight what's wrong, in under 30 seconds, zero hedging. Here's why I made it. Every coach I know is using AI to write content now. I know why you're doing it. You have an idea. You open ChatGPT or Claude. You type: "turn this into a viral Instagram Reel." 10 seconds later... You've got a hook, you've got a story, you've got 5 bullet points, you've got a CTA. You read it back and think: "This is technically good..." "But it doesn't sound like me." So you spend 10 more minutes telling AI to make it more human. That's not the fix. That's the problem, wearing a disguise. AI isn't bad at writing. You're asking it to make the decisions that were never its to make. Your hook. Your opinion. Your story. Your angle. Your belief. That's the stuff people actually follow you for. Hand it over, and you get this instead: Polished. On-brand. Technically fine. Completely forgettable. You post it. You get few likes. No real comments. You don't know if the idea was bad, or if AI just flattened it. You're too close to tell. That's the actual enemy. Not AI. Safe content. Content that sounds good but says nothing. Written for everyone, so it lands for no one. So I want coaches use AI differently. Don't use it to replace your thinking. Use it to attack your thinking. Give it the post. Give it your hook. Give it your argument. Then make it tell you: What's weak? What's generic? What's unclear? Where am I talking to a crowd instead of one person? What belief is this actually changing? What would make someone stop scrolling? So I built a Claude skill trained on 36 principles from Nik Setting - blunt, zero-fluff direct-response voice, and pointed it at my own posts first. Here's what it did to one of mine: Draft: "5 mindset shifts every coach needs to make in 2026" Verdict: "Written for everyone, which means it lands for no one. Nobody stuck right now feels called out by 'mindset shifts.' Pick the ONE belief a stuck coach is wrong about. Not five things. One."
Not every day of an internship is exciting. Some days, you just sit down and learn.
So, it was Day 3 of my internship. And honestly, today was pretty normal. I came in, got settled, and started learning about Machine Learning. Since I'm working with the AI team, I knew there was going to be a lot of technical stuff to learn, and today was definitely one of those days. Nothing crazy happened. No big meetings, no unexpected conversations, no crazy moments. Just me trying to understand the concepts, ask questions and learn as much as I can. And honestly, I think that's what a lot of these next few weeks are going to look like. Some days will be interesting. Some days will probably feel pretty normal. But I'm here to learn, so even the boring days count. Day 3 done. 🚀

I show founders exactly where AI creates leverage, and where it’s just noise. DM me “Compass” if you want my help to build and scale your business
