guys im finally doing something right
I have been stuck at the 1300 range for SO long I joined this community 2-3 weeks ago and dang my score JUMPED. I'm not posting this to flex but to tell you that these methods work. When you actually understand why youre getting these questions wrong and you work on a plan to stop that you will actually go places. I still have more points to earn but I will keep pushing.

@Bree Le Honestly, for reading it's finding a method that helps you understand the passage best. I can't say it will work for you but I started taking notes of passages and seeing how sentences relate/cause one another if that makes sense. Go on yt and theres tons of strategies online

@Gurvinder Sidhu Biggest tip is the mistake tracker, you can find it in the classroom tab
Here are some of the challenging math problems that I've worked with my tutor yestarday. I want to know everyone's thoughts..
Is it possible to use Desmos for #24, or would it be best to just turn it into a single equation and use the x=-b/2a formula to find the x? What do you all think about 26? For 25, we set 58 (the hypotenuse) equal to x square root 2, to find the other values of x and add them for the perimeter with the hypotenuse again. What are y'all's thoughts on 27? Is it possible to do 23 using Desmos? For my third image, would you say it is a must to memorize these formulas, especially h = -b/2a, for problems like 24?

For #24 whenever you're given that type of question the only way for a linear equation (so a line) to intersect a parabola once would just be a line going straight through the vertex. So you can find the coordinates of that vertex using the (-b/2a, f(-b/2a)). Hope this helps!
which day do you want for the next Goblin Call?
we had a pretty good call today at 2PM EST where we answered a bunch of SAT questions people had! now, I want to know from YOU when we should have the next one. use the poll to say the day, and then in the comments list what time would work on that day.
