It's quiet... too quiet 🤫
I admit it... I’ve been pretty quiet in here the past couple weeks. Not because I stopped caring about this community. Actually, the opposite. I just moved into a new home, and I’ve been sitting with some big questions about direction, priorities, and what the next chapter should look like. One thing I’ve learned as a neurodivergent founder is that sometimes the most productive thing isn’t pushing harder… it’s slowing down long enough to actually hear what feels true. So I’ve been doing a lot of thinking, journaling, walking, and reflecting. I've got some ideas, and I'll share them soon! But for now, I'm curious... How do you usually decide when it’s time for a pivot vs. time to push through resistance?

I notice the shifts in my body and energy... When I am moving forward I lean in and step on the gas... as I get tired I step back and recalibrate. I think deeply on the direction of the business and what I want to achieve with it and how we will do that. It's all intuition and reflective work for me.

@Bill Widmer I kind of imagine it like driving on the highway, sometimes you accelerate to get up to speed, go a little faster to overtake, slow back down to balance, put cruise control on to follow momentum and slow down when things get busy up ahead. We need to be at the wheel of our mind and body to keep that balance, momentum and to get the wins.
Hello!!
Hi Guys!! I’m Arthur Maddocks-Brown and I’m on a mission to build the Worlds Largest Travel Minded Mental Fitness Community! I call it Just Another Moment ❤️ The aim is to help people globally overcome their mental health challenges through my ACE approach to mental health. Adventure | Community | Education Ultimately helping people rebuild their confidence, connections and clarity with their meaning and purpose in life! I wanted to join this community because I want to learn from the best, Bill was shouted out in another community and I was keen to learn! My biggest challenge right now is conversion. I know what I need to do to fix it and @Bill Widmer played a huge role in that added clarity! Great to be here!

The only skill that matters
Funny… I moved into my new home yesterday. This morning, as I was unpacking my office to get ready for the work day, I stumbled upon an old box of books from many years ago. I used to be a very avid reader, and with this new home I figured what the hell… I want to pick up my reading habit and shift into the identity of a reader again. So I open one of my many boxes of books to see what I had inside. The very first book? The only skill that matters by Jonathan Levi. A book about learning to become a “super learner”. Speed reading. Memory enhancements. Learning how to learn. Funny how the universe works like that sometimes. I don’t think there’s a single book in my entire collection that makes more sense for me to read first than this one.

Is funny how the universe works isn’t it… You put intentions out there into the universe and then you get these signs guiding you. Follow that, it always is good to be in touch with the path

@Bill Widmer follow the signs and then look back an connect the dots! I watched the Steve Jobs uni speech again recently and the connecting of the dots really helped me look at my past a bit differently. and now I am here, it all makes sense!
