New collaboration coming - AnswerThis for literature reviews
I've recently been approached by AnswerThis.io founders to test their updated AI-based literature review tools. I usually prefer to write my own literature reviews without AI support, as I learn more and gain unique insights when I do it myself. However, with the sheer volume of articles being published these days and tighter deadlines, I see how such tools can become increasingly valuable. I'll be testing this over the next few days and will share my thoughts with the community soon. However, there are a few exciting activities that I'm currently discussing with the AnswerThis team: 1. You can get a good-value annual plan via my affiliate link here: https://answerthis.io/?ref=drhanak 2. We're planning an exclusive workshop just for this community P.S. Let me know if such partnerships and collaborations are helpful!

I agree with you Dawid, I personally learn more doing by myself with no AI, but we are being drowed by more and more articles, the risks of missing important articles is increasing, and from my experiences AI many times is more efficient than scopus. I will give it a try.
What’s your goal for 2026? (+ training reminder)
It’s been an unusually busy break for me. To the extent I haven’t had time to sit down and plan for 2026. But if I were to list just 2 priorities it would be this: 1. Grow this community into number #1 research community (we need to be ambitious) 2. Develop training materials and deliver at least 2 sessions (one training per quarter; 2 for this community; 2 relevant to my professional capacity) That’s it - beyond my academic responsibilities. How about you? What do you plan this year? P.S. We run paper writing training this Friday. Will you be there?

[New article] - 5 mistakes I made on Linkedin as academic
LinkedIn is not your CV. It's a platform for building relationships with potential collaborators, clients, and employers. I got my current professional position thanks to LinkedIn engagement. Here is advice how to avoid the mistakes I made along the way: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/5-mistakes-i-made-when-using-linkedin-demonstrate-expert-dawid-hanak-txh2e/ P.S. I'm finalising the profile reviews I promised. Getting the review template took a while ;)
