I found a few helpful tips from Ray's LIVE on what we can do if we hold off on taking action. 💡 1. Understand why you procrastinate Procrastination isn’t laziness — it’s usually avoidance. You might be: ✅ Overwhelmed by the size of the task 😰 ✅ Afraid of failing 😟 ✅ Bored or unmotivated 😴 ✅ Distracted by easier or more pleasurable things 📱 👉 Identify which one fits you. Awareness is the first step to fixing it. --- 🧩 2. Break it down Big tasks feel impossible. So instead of “build my website,” say: ✅ Write headline (10 mins) ✅ Add photo (5 mins) ✅ Write intro paragraph (15 mins) Small wins build momentum, and momentum kills procrastination. --- ⏳ 3. Use the 2-5 Minute Rule ✅ If it takes less than two minutes — do it right now. ✅ And if a task feels too big, start it for just two - five minutes. You’ll often keep going once you begin. --- 📅 4. Schedule it — don’t just plan to “do it later” Decide when and where you’ll do it. Example: ✅ “I’ll write the email at 10:00 AM at my desk.” Your brain respects appointments more than vague intentions. --- 🔕 5.
