Questions about the "sweet violet" pattern
I try to knit the sweet violet sweater. I wonder when I have to start with the violet pattern knitting. Do I first have to knit all the rounds with increasings in the maincollor, and then start with the flowerpattern in contrastcolor. Or do I have to incorporate the violet flowers pattern during the increasements. Another question is when do I start with short rows. Do I have to start with it after all the increasements or after the first row with increasements. Thank you for answering

Apr 20th 2026 Annewilma van Leeuwen 9:41pm Daar ben ik weer met een vraag over de sweet violet sweater. Ik snap niet waaruit ik de meerderings steek moet maken. Ik stuur je de foto van het patroon. In rij 1 moet ik bij steek 13 een meerdering maken. Ik brei dan eerst 5 steken met de hoofdkleur t/m steek 11. En dan...... snap ik het niet. Dan staat er een kruis, dat betekent geen steek, en dan een meerdering. Brei ik dan steek 13 (wat in mijn breiwerk steek 12 is) en maak daarna uit de volgende steek(steek 13 in mijn breiwerk),een meerdering? Of maak ik eerst een meerdering uit de steek na steek 11, zijnde steek 12 in mijn breiwerk, (maar volgens het patroon is dat geen steek). Begrijp je mijn vraag???

Ik geloof dat ik het nu toch snap, ik moet niet naar de telling van de steken onderin kijken. Ik heb de eerste ronde gebreid en kwam mooi uit, dus het gaat me nu wel lukken denk

How to work with the different yarns in de same colorrange
How do you work out the different yarns from fg. Color A in the pattern? I mean, when you are halfway in the pattern and your yarn is finished you start with another yarn in de same colorrange, but that is a bit different as the yarn you just finished. That will be vissible in the pattern. How do you work this out?
