Hi everyone :) I am really excited to join the group and knit my very first color work sweater in the round. I am only starting now, as I am returning from a holiday working on another project :D Could someone please give me a tip on how to do the gauge with colorwork for the myal? Which pattern do I use? Or is it enough to just do the gauge in Stockinette? Thanks a lot :) Anna-Lena

@Zanete Hussain the top is with larger needles. Looks way better. Picking each color individually and not having both of them on the finger helped, I guess. However, it still looks like I should use a larger needle for color work? Did the stockinette in 5mm. 6mm seems unreasonably large for the color?

@Zanete Hussain I still have 22 stitches in the stockinette. So, I think I'll be brave and start with 6mm. I am actually using wooden needles. Will try to think of spacing out more. I hope, it will be easier when the cable of the needles is longer and with more stitches over all.

Gauging struggles

Hi all, I made a gauge for the myal I the round with stockinette and color. I got 22 for stockinette and 26 for color instead of twenty. Is it save to go up half a size for the stockinette and 1.5 up for the color? Or should I do another gauge? I am super scared my pullover will be crooked, if I mess up the needle sizes. Thanks 😍
